Reusable Storage Bags (5 Pack Snack Sized, Clear)

I’ve been looking to purchase reusable food bags for a while now and am very happy with the bags from Envirogen! They are a great size for snacks, durable to throw in a bag that is constantly rummaged through, easy to open and close (even my son can do it!), and lightweight. They are not dishwasher friendly, which is okay. I preferred this feature but I know it can compromise the integrity of the material. Hand washing takes a bit more time but they are flexible enough to make cleaning not a big deal. I thoroughly enjoy this product!

These bags are a great replacement for Ziploc bags. They are easy to open and close and easy to clean. The bags don’t feel as sturdy as some other brands I’ve come across, better ut as these are biodegradable and recyclable, I won’t feel bad if I need to discard them. Highly recommend!

A couple things:1. I purchased the bags for use in my son's lunch box. I received the bags on Thursday, and since today is Tuesday I've only used them twice so far (Friday and Monday). As others have mentioned, after the first use the plastic was stained (from watermelon). But the bags didn't leak, and if the staining doesn't bother you, then the bags are great. I wish they made an even smaller size as even the smallest is a bit big for a lunchbox, but we're making it work. If they come out with a smaller size, I would definitely buy it!2. My biggest complaint is that after only having had the product for four days, I've already received two emails from the company asking me to leave a review. While the emails are cute, and I often do leave reviews for things I purchase, I've only had the chance to use the bags twice. I don't typically review something until after I've been able to use it for at least a couple of weeks. I am reviewing sooner because I keep getting these emails and would like them to stop, but I'm knocking my rating down a bit because of it. Despite the staining, I would have given 5 stars if I hadn't felt bombarded by emails after purchasing. An email a week after purchasing, and maybe a second follow up a week or two later, would have felt much less pushy.This won't stop me from buying from them again though, the product is great!

I bought 20 of the snack size reusable bags for my kids for their lunches. These are the perfect size for a serving of fruits, veggies, or a snack like Goldfish or Cheez Its (the go-to lunchtime snacks in our house). My kids are 11 and 12, and have no issues with opening or closing them. I could see where it might be difficult for younger kids to open them though.They seem to be well constructed. We've been using them for a few days without issue. We did read the washing instructions and only wash in cold water. Because we can't wash in hot water I'd refrain from putting meat in these, but that's my personal preference. I took the suggestion of another reviewer and bought a lid holder to use for a drying rack, or a bottle holder works well too.I meal prep on Sundays, and it's really nice not to be using single-use snack bags any more. Plus, these storage bags are recyclable when you do decide to get a new set, so no landfill waste.

I've had these for a few days worth of lunch box packing and I am quite pleased. They're a good portion size for lunch items, yet fit inside a lunchbox without taking up too much space. They seem to be sturdy enough to stand up to the pressures of a 3rd grader intent on getting to the goodies within the bag, but are still easy enough for a child to open. No ripping or tearing of the edges, and they wash and dry quite well. Overall very happy with these little bags!

These are great and make you feel like you're contributing less damage to the evening but they suck to clean. You or much have to open them, flip them upside down and put on a glass wide enough that no parts touch or it will never dry.

I've been looking for reusable ziplock bags for a while. Glad I took the chance on these. The zip seal is perfect. No leaks or spills. I use these mostly for fruits and for snacks like nuts and raisins. Easy to store in the fridge and cabinates/drawers.The two cons I have are:- The inside slightly stained from strawberries and cantaloupe- They are hard to dry completely. Unless you towel dry them after washing I try opening them around the rims for the dishes in the dish rack, however they do not completely dry this way.

With two school age children who bring lunches every day it's easy to go through at least 10 plastic snack bags per week. I really started feeling guilty about the environmental impact. I tried other wax lined reusable baggies, but the snacks inside grow stale and over time the wax begins to give off a strong odor. I bought the snack size version of these bags - great product! They wash out easily, the zip top is resistant to accidental opening, and they do not occupy any more space than a standard plastic baggie in my kids' lunchboxes.
