Simple, sturdy desk with good value, but may feel small for heavy study use
Comfort: I’m 5’1” (156 cm), and when I sit at this desk, the height feels slightly high, but I think a different chair would easily fix that. With the right chair height, it can be comfortable enough for daily use. Scratch resistance: I don’t notice scratches easily. I’m an adult in my 30s and use it normally, and so far it hasn’t scratched from regular activities. Ease of assembly: Assembly was simple and straightforward. I put it together without any problems, and all the parts aligned well. Gaming capability: I use it for light activities like reading, browsing, and small tasks. It works fine for basic use, but for heavy gaming setups or multiple monitors, it might feel a bit small. Stability: The desk is stable for everyday tasks. It doesn’t wobble when typing or writing. As long as you don’t overload it, stability is good for the price. Weight: It’s lightweight enough to move easily but still solid once placed. Not heavy-duty, but appropriate for a small space desk. Additional notes: I use this as a small personal desk for reading and short sessions of laptop work. If someone plans to sit for long study hours, the desk might feel narrow. It can hold a laptop and one or two thicker books, but not much more. However, if you have an extra side table or drawer unit next to it, the setup works well. Overall, a simple, affordable desk that works great for light use, small rooms, or as a secondary workstation.

A Safe Buy?—Hard To Tell: HERES WHY
Upon opening the (undamaged) box, I was met with what appeared to be a styrofoam party; a party of which I was not invited to😔. I quickly noticed some damaged pieces and didn’t hesitate to snap a few photos as proof! If the damaged boards and styrofoam pieces engulfing the box wasn’t enough, a good 1/3 of the screws (screws #1&4 mostly) did not fit into their predrilled holes. The predrilled holes were already used and deep, implying to me, this product was put together once before prior to my receiving it (despite paying the difference to receive the desk as new). With the exception of ONE board (W), NO OTHER boards were labeled by their corresponding letters. Forcing me to go board by board, sorting them out myself. I tried making it work, ignoring the damaged boards, as I was excited to put this desk together after reading an hour of reviews and doing my own research. But when you run into lose fitting screws that inevitably make the desk wobbly and unstable, I had no choice but to return it. I repacked it and started a return on Amazon. Fortunately, I had the option for them to send me a replacement right away and turn in original desk within 60 days. I jumped on that opportunity and ordered the replacement. After five days, it came in! The replacement that came in was in a lot better condition. Unused! The 8th photo attached is what the replacement looked like upon me opening it. Big difference from the first picture, I know. You can observe the packaging difference in the 9th & final photo. On the left, you can see the packing for the first desk. On the right, you can see the packaging for the second desk. Once again, night and day differences. ALL screws were labeled and accounted for in the second desk. The predrilled holes in this set were unused and in great condition! All screws fit into their anticipated holes. **To recap, the first desk was absolutely awful. It was used, torn to heck, and was one big headache in general. The replacement desk was the polar opposite. Received in great condition, all boards were labeled, all screws fit in the predesired holes, and it is STABLE (with a slight, unnoticeable wobble). With both of my experiences being the opposite of one another, It’s hard to say if this is a good buy or not. If you want me to judge my opinion based off of the first impression, this company is terrible and unreliable. If you want me to judge my opinion based off of the second, or even overall experience, this company is great and deserves your service. Sure they butchered my impression starting out, but they responded in the best way I could ask for.

Absolute Crap
Unfortunately this little table turned out to be a big frustration. The box arrived and I took all the myriad of pieces out to begin assembly. Hundreds of tiny broken foam pieces went everywhere from the crappiest of packing foam inside. What a mess that was. Looking at all the components, all of the “wood” pieces are actually horribly flimsy particle board, and some of the lowest quality particle board I have ever seen. The top face of the desk arrived severely bowed, and the back face of the drawer had two long chips broken off along the slot where the drawer bottom is intended to slide in. 1/3 of the slot length was intact however so I opted to continue assembly. Major tactical error. When I got to attaching the legs, the smaller screws would not line up with the pre-drilled holes in the legs and would not screw in correctly on three of the legs. Very frustrating. After nearly three hours of frustration and sweat, I managed to get this thing together though. Then, like a cherry on top, the last step was placing little black circular stickers that came on a small handy sheet over all the screw holes (Because when you want to hide screws, who wouldn't want to do so with a handy sheet of cheap black stickers?). Finally I was done, or so I thought. But when I put the drawer in, it literally ripped apart. One of the screws ripped right out of the soft, crappy particle board drawer side and the drawer frame just fell apart and is completely unfixable. This was not due to me being rough or assembling it incorrectly, but was entirely due to the horrible quality of the cheapest particle board available on earth. The rest of the desk material is the same crap, so I cant imagine it will have a long life even without the drawer. So needless to say I have requested a refund. But the fun doesn't end there because now I get to spend even more of my time disassembling this monstrosity just so I can try to get it all back in the loose foam-filled box and take it to the UPS store for the return. If I can spare just one person the hassle I went through with this table, then this review will have been worth it. Never has the phrase “You get what you pay for” meant more to me than it does now.

Great little desk
I think this little desk is fantastic. It arrived quickly and the color was just as advertised. It doesn’t take up too much space which is great because a room I put it in is pretty small. It’s the perfect height for an office chair and it’s easy to move around. It is made of particleboard and not solid wood however, I have no complaints about the quality. It appears to be very well built and I have no concerns about it breaking down. I like the shelf in the back that allows for two big monitors to sit on it while keeping a laptop and/or keyboard on the lower shelf. It does come with a very thin back that you can nail in to close off the entire desk, but I chose to leave that off, as I feel like they never fit correctly, but also the desk itself does not have holes for cords to feed through so in leaving it off it allows for me to have the cords coming out the back versus them taking up space on the desk. I have zero issues with this, but it is something to be aware of if you do. I have also seen many people complain about assembly, but I also had no problems with it. It does come with instructions however there are picture instructions and no text. But the pieces are letter labeled ( A, B, C etc.,) on the actual pieces as well as in the instructions, so I’m not sure why so many people are having trouble. If you can follow basic instructions this should not be an issue for you. I put this together with very minimal (hold this piece up while I screw this in) help in about 45 minutes. I think this is a great option if you are needing an affordable and space saving desk.

Basic Desk
The assembly took awhile, but all parts were there. The directions for assembly were straight forward. There was one point I couldn’t figure out which way one of the legs was supposed to be screwed in and I made a hole where there wasn’t one initially. The diagram wasn’t that clear but when I put the leg on the other side, I realized there was a pre drilled hole. Basically all places you had to screw in had predrilled holes. So... I don’t know why in the world I didn’t think logically and realize this when I decided to make a new hole.... DUH!!! The other part of my assembly issue is that there are metal pieces that have to be point in the right way or they will not lock into place when connected to another piece. So I discovered this when my 7 yr old came in with the drawer in his hand and said the desk was broken. It wasn’t and just needed to be secured CORRECTLY... can you believe that, you have to put things the right way for them to function properly. We have had it for 3 months and it still looks new but I wouldn’t say it’s going to last forever and don’t stand on it, I did and I wasn’t to sure if it would withstand my weight. But it did and was just wobbly. All in all it was a decent buy for the price it’s not the fanciest think IKEA level.

Great desk for the price!
After reading the reviews, I decided to give this desk a try. I’ve assembled many pieces of IKEA furniture and a few from Amazon, so I knew exactly what I was getting myself into. The assembly was a bit of a PITA, but not overwhelmingly hard. I would suggest using a screwdriver to line up the pieces before using a drill to tighten. My bottom shelf didn’t line up perfectly, so I had to drill my own holes. Directions aren’t perfect, but they’re easy to follow. The number in parenthesis corresponds with the screw you need from the numbered packet. I needed space for cords, so I didn’t hammer the backing into the shelves and it looks fine without it. There’s a lot of space under the desk, so if you like to sit crisscross like me, this desk is perfect! I’m a 23 y/o female and assembled this desk by myself in about an hour....it’s not rocket science. This desk is perfect for my needs. My apt is tiny, so I didn’t want a big, bulky desk. You can’t beat the price. As you can see in my pictures, it fits a MacBook Pro on the desk & top shelf. It even fits a mouse and large keyboard, with a full-size planner. My biggest gripe is that it doesn’t come in white to match the rest of my furniture. If you’re a student or parent looking for a desk to use for at home learning, I would definitely give this desk a try.

Definitely worth it for the Price.
This isn't meant to make fun of people, it's an observation of fact and meant to help others from experiencing negative outcomes from the product caused by individuals inabilities. If you find this hard to build, find the instructions confusing or find the desk "isn't even strong enough to hold itself up" then maybe get someone else that's more competent to assist you. If you lack the skill to assemble it correctly then you shouldn't rate it negatively, shouldn't rate it at all. If you over tighten the screws, it will affect the overall strength by stripping the wood. The instructions come with illustrations and ever piece is individually marked with corresponding letters. Follow orientation and screw placements and the desk if great. Again, this is not being mean, it's just how it is. Getting help from someone is perfectly acceptable. I'm stuck staying at my sister's house in a small room while my house is getting built and I promised my son I'd get his gaming stuff setup for him. We don't have room for his nice big desk and I didn't want to spend money on another desk just for a few months. For the $ this is absolutely worth it and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to my family members. As a matter of fact, I'm ordering another one for my business computers to use while being stuck at home. Very easy to build, I suggest a drill with adjustable clutch because the screws WILL strip easily. Again, for the price, it's very sturdy. My son has a 24 inch monitor, a particularly large thermatake case PC, mouse/keyboard and his Xbox one on it. So far, so good.
