I planted 5 trees this summer. In the past I let my hose trickle water for 3 hours twice a week, as recommended by the nursery. I just don't have time for that and gave this a try. This 3 pack is one of the lease expensive watering bags on Amazon. It works fine. You just zip it around the new tree and fill up. That's it'. The 25 or so gallons of water leaks out slowly over about 5 hours in my experience. This is the slow soak that most new plants need. No signs of wear after a months use.Couple of thoughts....the zipper appears to be on backwards...on all the bags. If you want the filling hole to on the outside of the bag, making it easier to fill, the bag needs to be zipped up with the zipper pointed to the inside. No biggie since it's a one time chore. Second, when filled the bag doesn't stand up, but tends to lean to one side or another. Make sure your tree is staked well. A small tree, say a one inch tree will not hold up the bag well. And third point, OK I said two....If you let the bag sit in the same spot all the time, fungus tends to form on the soil at the bottom of the bag due to continuous moisture. Every time I fill up, I pick the bag up and rotate it around a bit to avoid this issue.

This made it so easy to keep my newly planted trees hydrated. I've had more than one die in the past. These bags hold plenty of water, and make it so I can wait longer in between watering. They let the water drain slowly so that the tree is getting consistent daily watering even if I only get out the hose two or three times a week.

Several comments have spotted a problem that's easily corrected by setting up the watering bags properly. Watering spouts should face outwards--not inwards. If the zipper looks like it's turned backwards, it is. Just flip it around. Then you get maximum watering and proper water release. Really it's easy to set up.

I got these for some new trees we had planted at a school. They're easy to zip onto the tree, and they seem well made. We've been using them for two months now, and they still look brand new. I'll update this if things change.

Fill 'em up, they'll drain out over the course of several hours......just like the description says. If you thought you could fill them up and then go on a month long safari whilst your trees got continual water, then you didn't read the description. Depending on your tree's needs, you could need to fill these up daily. They aren't quite the eyesore I expected them to be, which is a nice surprise.

Good product, appears to be well made. Used 2 per tree and the outside zippers are large and easy to use. Filled it up and good to go! Much less expensive than others.

I purchased four 20 gallon Remiawy Tree slow watering bags. I received two 20 gallon and two 15 gallon. The Company promptly stepped up and corrected the situation.Thank you for a very nice product and great customer service Remiawy!

The install could use a bit stronger instructions but filling port located on the inside after install is difficult initially to find and use. After a few it loosens up. But the price makes these inconvenience acceptable
