Helps me keep going
I grabbed a couple of the full kits when my old headlight stopped working. The kits I had used these awful barrel connectors for charging that are only mounted by their solder joints. Terrible design but you get what you pay for. Noticed one of my coworkers had a similar set up with a USB micro charging port instead. After a little searching on Amazon I found this one. Quick shipping. Gets my 5W light just as bright. Holds a charge for the same amount of time or a little better. I cringe a bit less every time I plug it in. If you use this set up I suggest keeping three of them in rotation for adequate brightness throughout a standard day. This system does not have a regulated power supply and will get dimmer with use at the same setting.

Will not hold a charge
The recharge sign never worked which doesn't make any difference because it will not hold a charge for more than about 1 hour. A complete waste of money.
