If you shoot music videos or content and need a light that you can fit in the back of your car this is the one for you. The bad stuff first: A bit fidgety to set up and it takes v mount batteries which can be a bit pricey if you don't have a power source near you.The good stuff: This light is really bright when you're shooting in low light situations, but with all the accessories that come with it you can soften the way hit hits the subject which is really useful for beauty shots. The product isnt heavy at all and you can easily fit it in a suitcase if you dont want to use the cool carry case it comes with.This product has changed the way I light shots for the better!

I've had this LED light for a few weeks now. Having used it on set many times I can say it's fantastic! It creates a really soft light and is very lightweight. It takes a couple of minutes to setup which is different from my other LED's, however the benefit of it packing down into a very small bag outweighs the negative here.As it is a flexible LED is can be positioned in places other lights cannot go. You can attached it to a ceiling or the inside of a car. As it is so light, the option of being able to attach it to a boom stand is very helpful.I will be definitely be buying more Falcon Eyes. 👍

Just bought one of these, everything assembles as it should, but the soft dome does NOT assemble in a heartbeat (as the description suggests) it fact I think the small lugs that take the poles inside are on the wrong side. To fit them just feels awkward and not quite right. Otherwise, super bright, nice soft light.

I can't change the colour temperature on the light

This is a great light for those of us that shoot video professionally. It's consistent and bright easy to set upand reliable. Not super cheap but then good things never are

Zugegeben: Das Set ist nicht billig. Aber die Falcon Eyes RX-18TD-Leuchte ist nicht meine erste Lampe des Herstellers und auch hier wurde ich nicht enttäuscht. Sie ist solide verarbeitet und dieses Komplettpaket war genau das, was ich wollte: Ein leicht zu transportierendes und vielseitig einzusetzende Leuchte. Standardmäßig ist sie an einem Arm an meinem Arbeitsplatz befestigt, um damit Videos besser auszuleuchten. Ich verwendet dazu die Softbox mit Grid.Kauf bereut? Nie.Würde ich sie Freunden empfehlen? Definitiv – und habe ich auch bereits.

Per me che devo girare interviste è la luce quasi perfetta. Consumo bassissimo, alimentazione a rete e batterie, morbidezza eccezionale, direzionalità totale con la griglia a nido d'ape. Il costo non è molto contenuto ed è complessivamente un po' ingombrante, ma non ha quasi eguali sul mercato.

The FalconEyes LED mats have very nice color accuracy (no big green or magenta tints), 5600k appears slightly warmer than it should, but it does give excellent skin tones. I like how lightweight and compact this setup is as everything fits into a small case, which also helps keep things organized.Downsides i found are that the honeycomb grid on the softbox should be slightly smaller because it sags a little. There are no special effects and no control via app. Other than that it's always time consuming and fiddly to deal with any LED mats when assembling and disassembling. Not a disadvantage, specially for the price, but the case is just ok, does the job but isn't anything fancy. Still, these are much better organized and useful than their newer versions (18TD II), which come in a tube like case and everything's just a mess in there with no dividers.The biggest advantage to this over traditional panels or COB leds is that you can much easily rig these for overhead lights on a boom or a C-stand. So they are much safer to have over your talent for instance. Other than that car ceilings, walls, and pretty much any surface can be used to rig these mats. I would advice purchasing an extension cable (10m), it will come in handy when you less expect it. Other than that, the kit comes complete, and you just need to bring a lightweight light stand.Very versatile light, very useful on any set, powerful and soft enough for a key-light in interviews. It is especially worth the purchase if you're a one man band and don't wish to carry heavy stuff for yourself and want to have a minimalistic lighting kit.4.6/5

Ich hab sonst eher große, schwere Lampen, zum filmen sowie Fotografie im Studio.In diesem Fall ging es mir nicht um die „Lux auf 3m“ - sondern um ein flexibel zu händelndes Licht, das man mitnehmen kann, hell genug ist um bei offenblende drinnen und draussen zu arbeiten und ausserdem Bicolor ist. Noch dazu losgelöst per V-Mount Akku betrieben werden kann.Die Softbox mit dem Grid ist ganz hervorragend und kann zusammengeklappt komplett in der (billig fabrizierten aber funktionalen) Tragetasche transportiert werden. Alles an dem Kit ist einfach zu bedienen und gut gemacht.Man kann die ausserdem problemlos an einem C stand mit langem grip arm (ohne Gegengewicht) hängen - die 18TD wiegt praktisch nichts!
