Great for the price
I am a graphic designer, and needed a good monitor to work on stuff. My whole day is in adobe, and this monitor is perfection if you're not trying to break the bank. The color is good, and picture is super clear. I was really pleased with it's quality. Also a nice size.

Excellent, Crystal Clear, world class in every way, Amazon Warehouse Open Box, LOVE IT!
Great news for the LG 27UL500-W 27-inch 4K UHD UltraFine Computer Monitor. I purchased mine as an open box from Amazon Warehouse, and I'm beyond impressed. The crystal-clear 4K resolution and vibrant colors make everything look stunning, whether I'm working or watching videos. I use it with Amazon's Firestick which are the very best for streaming imho. Despite being an open box, the quality was excellent, no blemishes and the price was unbeatable for such an outstanding high-performing monitor. Seriously, a fantastic value for anyone looking for a budget-friendly, powerful display. If you find this on sale, do not hesitate.

High quality LG monitor
After much research i purchased this monitor because the manufacturer and other reviews stated that this monitor was great for reading print, Word Documents, and online articles. This monitor is fantastic. The printed words are very clear and crisp and the video quality is outstanding - I highly recommend this monitor for those uses.

Huge Upgrade to my Editing
I bought this monitor to replace an older HP IPS model that I never really could get dialed in on the color. I edit on a MacBook Pro and the colors between the MacBook and the old monitor were always pretty far off. Had lots of problems with reds on the old monitor being over saturated. I saw the reviews on this and thought it would be worth a try. So far, I'm loving it. The colors right out of the box are much closer to my Mac and the clarity is amazing. The old monitor was 1920 x 1440. I'm running this monitor in 3840 x 2160/60Hz and for photoshop and Lightroom, it's just flat out awesome right out of the box. Skin tones are much more representative of actual tones.PROS: Clear Picture, Good Color, Good Brightness.CONS: I don't like the menu system, the joystick controller, and the "beeps" are super annoying. The sounds the monitor makes are very much like an old school Colleco video game. When it powers down it's painful.** UPDATE ** NOVEMBER 8, 2023 - After using this quite heavily for a while, and calibrating it with a Spyder, I've noted that things have changed a bit. No longer matching my Macbook display a much as I'd like. I've spent a lot of time trying to dial in the hues for skin tone to look good across a variety of apple devices, and I was struggling. Last week grabbed an Apple Studio Display and that was the final nail in the coffin for this display. I think as a stand alone display, for gaming or other work, this is a great display. The resolution is nice and it looks pretty good. But when you're doing photo/video work, and you need consistency across your displays, this wasn't what I needed (and I realize that most people won't use it for professional photo editing, so keep that in mind as well). Still a worthy buy at the price. OH!!! And I'm not sure if there was an update to the firmware or what, but the annoying beeps are gone. It now makes a much nicer sound when turning off and on. Good job LG!!!

Great bang for buck - just needs a better stand
I'm very happy with this monitor, especially for the price I paid (Black Friday weekend special). It doesn't have the deepest blacks, but it goes bright and is nice and crisp, as you'd expect from a 4K. Works flawlessly with my MacBook. The one niggle is the included stand, which was too low and too wobbly for me. An inexpensive VESA mount stand soon fixed that. Highly recommended if you're looking for a good value monitor to use daily.

Very good image for the price. No picture, gaming or video issues seen since setting up 5 days ago.
(Updated) For many years, I used a mismatched dual monitor set up that consisted of a 21” Acer and 22” Samsung models from around 2015. Even though this was adequate for a lot of basic things, it always drove me a little nuts they were of different sizes. Also the color calibrating on both models was a pain that never quite worked and the same videos/images were noticeably different hues depending on which monitor they were displayed on. Basically, it was time to get a dual monitor replacement set of the same brand and model.I also wanted something that was 4k capable, in the 25" to 29" size range, and of course something that would not break my budget. After spending a few months reading reviews of various models, I found that the LG 27UL500-W 27-Inch best matched my wants and needs. On Prime Day, Amazon discounted the price further, so I placed an order for a set ($279 ea).Setup: Very easy. To conserve desk space, I purchased a WALI Dual LCD Monitor Fully Adjustable Desk Mount Stand that had two arms. I had no issues attaching the monitors to the desk mount and running cables from the monitor to PC/outlets.Fit and Finish: I have not seen any bezel issues where they were pealing apart. They are not the thinnest and are about .25” around the top/sides. The bottom is wider. Since I use a desk mount stand, I have no comment about the stands that came with the monitors (they are still bagged). I like that LG put a toggle for the screen controls instead of a row of buttons.Picture: The picture quality so far is very good. I have not seen the light bleed a lot of commentators have noted.Ports: The LG 27UL500-W 27-inch has 1 display port (v1.2) and 2 HDMI ports (v2.0). No DVI or RGB15 ports. I assumed I that I could use DVI HDMI/DP or RGB HDMI/DP adapters. Neither RGB (which I expected) nor DVI adapters (which I did NOT expect) work with these monitors. So those that have older PCs/Laptops/KVM switches may be out of luck if the equipment does not support a DisplayPort or HDMI video connector (on my initial review, I deducted a star for this). So, my 4-port RGB KVM switch will not work (this was expected, and I am had my eye on a replacement 4-port HDMI KVM switch that supports dual monitor). For the PCs, it’s a matter of finding cheap replacement video cards that are PCIe x16 with 2x DisplayPort or 2x HDMI ports (but cheap ones do not seem common) and enough VRAM to drive this monitor (from what I read 1 GB should be more than adequate for 1080p since I do not plan to use these PCs for high end gaming). I did find that a passive HDMI to DisplayPort works so integrating a new HDMI KVM switch should not be an issue.Overall, I have been pleased with my LG 27UL500-W 27-Inch purchases. I also have a plan to work out my KVM/Cable/Monitors. If all goes well, I will likely raise my rating from 4 to 5 stars.Update 05/05/2020:I am raising my rating by a star - No image, video or audio channel issues have occurred with either monitor since I purchased them July 2019.These monitors are in near daily use, are powered on/off often and subject to resolution changes a few times a month. The audio channel is constantly used through one of the monitors for steaming video from a ROKU that is connected to one of the monitors.I fully integrated these two monitors to use with a 4 dual port HDMI KVM switch. My only disappointment was that an old ROKU SE did not work with the monitors via the HDMI port. This was most likely due to the ROKU SE inability to support 4K. Using a ChromeCast and a ROKU streaming stick had no issues with either LG monitors).
