Prefect for toddlers
Does exactly what I needed. I have a special needs toddler and this works prefect for some added peace of mind if she opens doors, windows or drawers she doesn’t need to be opening. Loud alarm and easy to install. Super happy with product and pricing!

Works great and very loud
One of our doors became disconnected from our alarm system. The alarm company wanted to charge us well over $1,000 to reconnect it. This GE Personal Security alarm saved us a lot of money and works wonderfully. It is very loud so we can hear it from any room and it's easy to turn off , on chime and in alarm settings.

Great alarm, but not UL 2017
Needed some window and door alarms to pass final inspection with my pool. I did an amazon search and found these as city code requires constant alarm while the door or window is open. These are easy to install and have a chime or alarm option which is great. The only short coming is that these alarms are not UL 2017 certified. The city did go ahead and pass inspection being that 85db is required and these were over 120db. So be warned, these are NOT UL CERTIFIED.

Very loud chime, easy set up with a tiny screw driver, read before clicking "checkout"
Initial impressions only. First thing to note - make sure you have a very small Phillips-head screwdriver for the battery case. If you have an eyeglass repair kit, it will work. Secondly, I bought this set specifically for the chime feature. I have varying needs for the door/window sensors from "this window should never be opened and will be alarm-setting only" to "this door is opened often and I just want a chime on it to alert me during the day." Very few sensors, even at higher price points, have the chime, so I can't be too picky, but it's LOUD and very high-pitched - it's less of a chime than a screech. It's a short blast of the alarm. Someone with average hearing will be able to *clearly* hear the chime from the other side of the house. When in the same room, it's too much. My plan to keep most of the sensors on chime during the day isn't going to work. I will give myself and my cats heart attacks every time the chime is activated; it's not the neutral "bong" I was expecting. Luckily, the switch to adjust the settings are easy to reach so you will just have to get in the habit of resetting it as needed. I'm not looking forward to testing each one as I install them, but, again, at this price point, it's a small inconvenience. Finally, each sensor requires 4 LR44 1.5v batteries. Go ahead and toss a bulk pack into your cart now while you are thinking about it. Another positive is the large battery test button on the front. It's easy to check if you need to replace the batteries, and the notification is a change in the light color, not an alarm.

Great Alarm
These window and door alarms are definitely a great investment if you don’t want the expenses of a traditional alarm system. I installed these alarms on all entry doors to my home and all windows that open. The alarm is extremely loud and can be heard easily anywhere in the home. The 3M two sided tape seems to be holding so far. Overall a great inexpensive investment for extra security.

Very loud alarm. Would totally recommend
Put this alarm on the bedroom door upstairs so I could hear if my toddler aged grandkids were up or sleep walking. Was nervous about them and the stairs. It works great. Alerted me when they were up and leaving their room. The alarm is VERY LOUD.

They are loud and fairly Indiscreet
They come in a box much smaller than what it looks like as advertised so the advertisement is a little misleading but they do the trick the design is on point the sensitivity seems to be on point, it definitely gives you a sense of safety because the alarms functionality is really really well designed and it's loud enough to ward off Intruders or to make sneaky kids who are trying to sneak out think twice especially their first or even second time as these are very Indiscreet and you can even put them on the outside of the window so you can show them that you weren't born yesterday anyways hope this review helps and just wanted to make sure you knew that they were all the same size. I thought one was bigger for some reason but I will show you a video of the box and what it actually looks like and how they come

HOPEFULLY THIS DOESN'T HAPPEN TO YOU...
I would have given these a five-star rating if this hadn't happened: I bought the 12 pack, to have enough for all the windows. So I installed them all, the day they arrived. That night, at 5 a.m. the alarm on one of my bedroom windows went off. It's extremely loud, and extremely jarring, to say the least, when it happens when you're sound asleep. I stopped it, and reset it, and attempted to go back to sleep. At six O'clock it went off again. I turned it off and left it off. To be clear, the window had not been moved in the slightest. The next day I checked the batteries to make sure it wasn't simply a matter of weak batteries, but that wasn't the case. There's a button you press to check the batteries, and it lit up the tester light green. Having malfunctioned twice, and cost me several hours sleep, it went into the garbage can. It's not going to have another chance to do it again, and I'm certain it would have. I was just glad it happened to me, and not another member of the family, because it would have scared them out of their wits. So instead of a 12 pack, I got an 11 pack for my money. Consequently, I now have serious doubts about the other eleven. Are they eventually going to go off for no reason and scare the hell out of my family? Are they even going to work correctly, if there's an actual break-in attempt? Basically, I now have zero confidence in these. The best I can say is, they aren't very expensive, and they are loud enough to wake the dead. I thought of GE products as being well-made, but I won't be buying any more of their brand.

I live in a somewhat remote rural area, and in a house with a number of downstairs windows and doors. For security reasons, and following some minor thefts in other properties nearby, I needed either a full alarm system or individual alarms for windows and doors. I saw these, and thought I would give them a try. There are two parts to each alarm - the main alarm and a smaller, magnetised piece that fits on either the door/window or door/window frame. The parts are attached to window/door by the supplied double sided sticky patch (this is a surprisingly strong bonding sticky patch, and I have no doubt it will remain in place for some time). The two pieces of the alarm shoould be attached in such a way that there is a narrow gap between the two parts. To turn the alarm on one simply moves the side switch on the main alarm piece down as far as it will go. (Moving it half way down gives a single chime when the door/window is opened). To turn off the alarm simply close the window/door, or physically move the switch to the 'off' position. The alarm itself is quite loud (110 - 120 decibels - I have seen both quoted in literature and on the box! Whatever it is, it's loud!) This package, with 12 alarms for £50 (the price I paid) has turned out to be good value as far as meeting what I needed, the ease of installation and the noise each alarm makes when triggered; as such I can recommend them. (These are my own thoughts on an item I have bought myself and found useful.)

Très bonne petite alarme pour protéger les fenêtres du sous-sol.Et le bruit a l’ouverture est assez striden.
