I don't want to re-use the same piece of floss for all the teeth. Is it manageable to slowly advance the floss to a fresh spot each time?

I divide my mouth into quarters. After flossing the 1st quarter, I wrap the floss once around the handle to advance to new floss, then repeat. I think this tool is GREAT!

About how many inches of floss will the handle hold?

Approximately, what is the MAXIMUM length of floss the handle can hold?

What is it made out of?

FlossAid dental floss holders are made out of Polycarbonate.

Is it brittle and the forks break easily as reported by a customer ?

Exactly! They didn't use to break so quickly. I use the Gum product now. They last a lot longer.
