John Varvatos Men's Cologne, Vintage Eau de Toilette EDT Spray, Aromatic Chypre Scent with Notes of Quince Paste, Patchouli & Tobacco Leaf

This has become "my" scent. When I was a kid I remember smelling cologne that my older cousin and Dad had and have been looking for a colonies that is close to that memory. I have definitely found it with Vintage. Its not the longest lasting on my skin but I can smell the base notes still on shirts I wore days prior. Its just strong enough that when people get close to me they notice it, like my wife, kids and co-workers. Its a very warm, spicy scent that dew isn't for everyone, but it fits my personality and style perfectly. When people do catchy a whiff, especially females, I always get compliments. Other than Creed's Aventus for the warm months, this is my go to for when it starts getting colder outside. My wife and daughters love the smell and it always takes me back to those times as a kid. I have finally found my scent after all those years....

Love this smell. Such a wonderful masculine soft scent without being overpowering.

A bit costly but got lots of compliments on dates liking my cologne. This is my 2nd bottle (first was a gift). However, found lower cost fragrances that received good reviews and will try those later.

I note that this was recommended by a beautiful woman because I find that to be an important detail. One of my friends was flipping through a magazine when she came across this (with the scent on the page) and she immediately text me saying it smelled awesome and reminded her of me. I went to a local store (where is was over $80) and smelled it, it smells very manly and "vintage" leather, wood, etc.. very manly, but sleek and great. I do not like the really clean smells, and this was perfect.My only complaint is that people have to be really close to smell it. This isn't too bad as you don't want to be leaving scents behind everywhere you go, but it also means the cute girl who you want to smell it, might not.
