CDI Electronics113-4489 Johnson/Evinrude Power Pack - 2 Cyl (1988-1995)

Product worked but was a very difficult install. The install required the original charge coil be destroyed to recover and re-use the metal laminations. Kit should have just came with the complete part. You have to pay close attention to wire routing because it all moves with the base plate. The directions are only written no photos to really help you. Nothing on their website is any help either no YouTube videos nothing. Stick with the factory original stuff if you want just plug and play. This kit requires you even make wire connections and push the wires into the rubber connector. The directions state that there’s bosses on the engine to mount the power module if you can’t find them they give you a bracket that is supposed to be used. I could not find any place on my motor to install either. I ended up zip tying the power module to a open area around my fuel pump. My original powerpack lasted 30 years I hope this set up last that long if not I’ll probably go back to factory original.
