Underwater Treasures AUTJQ092L Aquarium Ornament

Lizard loves it, fortunately it didn’t include a DHD or a ZPM, so he hasn’t been able to dial out to the Pegasus Galaxy. If he’s eventually able to hook it up to a Naquedah generator, I’ll be worried. In the meantime, he has a steady supply of crickets 🦗 whenever we have unscheduled off world activations. Fortunately, Walter hasn’t ever traveled through the wormhole, so he’s safe. However, I am a little worried that my lizard keeps making Wormhole X-treme references and is asking me to make him a small uniform with “Colonel” embroidered on it.

Attractive ornament. Suggest using a in-line air regulator valve to control airflow. So far my fish have had great experiences visiting other worlds. They are gracious enough to share some of the technology they bring back. (As long as I feed them premium food!) Only had to fight off one incursion in the middle of the night. Sharks with lasers on their heads attempted a hostile takeover!! Luckily ulour angle-hair algae nets caught them! 😁

first purchase from Big Als arrived broken, and they wanted me to pay to ship it back even though it looked like it went in the box broken, ended up with Amazons A-Z guarantee process... Second time around, only available from Big Als, but hubby is really into Stargate (yeah its not actual licensed Stargate but it is close enough to be cool looking). Arrived, and before I had a chance to get it in the tank, some of his fish turned up with Ich-and it took a few weeks for that to clear up and the tank to settle back to normal parameters...so less than 2 weeks ago I put it in the tank...and this morning I looked at it and large patches of paint are gone...its a 55 gal freshwater and we have 2 bristlenose pleco and 4 black racer nerite snail. They havent stripped paint from ANY of the many other decor items of similar materials in the tank, despite a lot of those decors going through several heat treatments for ich as high as 30C. The only thing showing bare white patches is the pseudo Stargate looking ornament. Also, the large ornament doesn't have the bubbler in the description, but it does have a bubbler stone glued inside with airline through a hole, which sucks because when the stone gets gunked up, you will have to break the glue and not the ornament to replace it. It got 2 stars because it looks cool until you get it wet.

When I decided to purchase a stargate for my 60 Gal fish tank I went through all the measurements of the available Stargate options to ensure I get the best fit for my tank. First of all in the description of the product it mentions "the Small Aerating Sunken Medallion, which includes built-in airline tubing, and the Large Standard Sunken Medallion, which is non-aerating but much more impressively sized." but no where does it actually specify which one is Aerating or not, so I went off of the Product Dimensions : 12 x 4.7 x 8.1 inches; 15.2 Ounces. No where does this item reach 12", I don't know who is measuring these products but they are doing a horrible job or someone fat fingered the keys. The only reason I'm not giving a one star review is because the item is decent quality. It has some weight to it and the painting and design are well done. It's a nice piece, unfortunately it is pretty small for a 60 Gal tank if you're wanting this to be a nice center piece for your aquarium.I did not put this in my tank so I cannot comment on the aerating. I'm pretty disappointed as I've been pretty excited for this to arrive, which did arrive quite sooner than estimated at checkout.The only other Stargate I could find lists the Product Dimensions : 9 x 10.5 x 4.1 inches; 4.16 Ounces, which is very misleading and confusing in my opinion. If the one I purchased was the aerating Stargate and supposedly smaller than the other options, how do these measurements make sense?

Looks great and bubbles work well. Inside is hollow and needs to be sealed if you have fish that may become trapped. Airline adaptor that came with this was slightly too large for my old silicone line, but I replace with a spare adaptor with no problems. Major failing of this item is the paint, it began to chip off when i rinsed it at the sink. Now after a week under water (fresh water aquarium) several more areas of paint have fallen off and the area around the bubbles has lost almost all its paint.

Very pleased with my large Chappa-ai replica!A perfect addition to my scifi tank. It looks very nice between my TARDIS and crashed Enterprise.It did come with an airstone, but it was glued so high that the air collects underneath before escaping out the holes, so as a result the bubbles are a lot bigger than they would be otherwise. It's still a nice, if noisy, effect. I'll only run the air to impress visitors.

It's a freaking Stargate, it looks really well underwater and inside my 55 gallon turtle tank.I would recommend a gravel or something strong to hold it down because bigger creatures (like turtles) can knock it over if they are in pursuit of something.Additionally it has holes in it for bubbles to pop out and it has a tube to something that I have no idea what it's suppose to be, maybe that's an air bubbler, I have no idea, it's just funky in my opinion.Bottomline: It's a Stargate and I'm happy to have it. (It could double up as a game piece for Dungeons & Dragons, too.

If you are a Stargate collector of the memorabilia from the show this is an item to get I liked it so much I bought two it's great for aquariums I have a Stargate themed fish aquarium that fits in perfect I bought a DJ light to put behind that looks like the shimmering effect from the show must-have for any Stargate fan even if you don't use it for an aquarium it's great to display

Good product as listed slight smell after it was soaked in water hopping the smell will not effect my fish

Looks great after I had to glue it back together, perfect size but just not enough protection for shipping for a fragile item.
