Whats the wave length of the IR output?

I do not know that answer.but I can tell you the batteries need replacing very often!they are quite expensive, and hard to find. The light provided is excellent when new batteries are installed, but they don't last long.

William, your question doesn't exactly make sense. The Super TAC X does use standard CR123a batteries. Standard CR123's are not rechargeable. However there are companies out there that do make rechargeable CR123a batteries listed as (RCR123a). Just do a search for rechargeable cr123a and you will find plenty of the batteries and their chargers. No reason they shouldn't work in this light unless they have a nominal dimension that is a tad wider making them a tight fit.
