Dreambox 500s will not program and even with extra info will not work.The box may bea clone? or may just be defective? Will send to shop!

first, the good: it does what it says....the bad: very cheap construction; light on features; took a while to get 'set up'my opinion: if you can help it, purchase something else; it'll just save you time down the road. sonicview makes nice products for a little bit more money.

So far I like the Dreambox 500s even though it currently doesn't work for me. The unit come with all the European satellites but not the US ones. The instructions don't tell you this, at least not explicitly.Luckily the unit is popular so there is a lot of on-line help.It took me awhile to figure this out since I am new to the satellite technology.I am now waiting for my null modem, a special serial cable to communicate with my PC so I can reprogram the unit with the North American satellite information. The internet connection does not reliable for this, according to the on-line posts and didn't work for me.I am optimistic that this process will succeed, especially since there is a lot of on line help on the process and I will have success getting satellite reception.The Dream 500s is LINUX based and very compact - nicely built so I am looking forward to getting it to work with the North American satellites.

Is worth the value, and able to get good picture quality.You must know what you are doing before buying this product, otherwise you MUST read, read and read more.

Es un clon exactamente igual a la original. Tiene botón de apagado encendido. Funciona bien. Es compatible con imágenes para dreambox 500 s (enigma 1)

Alles top nur wurde es in komplett schwarz geliefert was ich persönlich besser finde aber eig. sollte es so aussehen wie auf dem Bild. Ist genauso gut wie mein Papa seine alte wertvolle Dreambox.

Bonjour, excellent le délai de livraison, commandé le 07.07 2013 et recu le 11.07 2013. la dreambox fonctionne très bien, bon état a la réception. Juste une petite chose, l image gimini impec mais trop ancienne version 4,2 est souhaitable, ce qui n enlève en rien sa qualité. Merci pour votre travail
