I WILL MAKE IT A POINT TO REUPDATE... I JUST READ SOME OF THE HORRIBLE REVIEWS, I DIDNT HAVE ANY ISSUES WITH THE RECEIVER. .... I WILL RE UPDATE AFTER RECEIVING THE SECOND ONE....... MY ORIGNAL REVIEW FOLLOWS......... took well over a year to write this review!!!! I went thru 2 onkyo and 1 Yamaha receivers. The Yamaha was a hand me down the onkyos were repaired more than once. Also know, these receivers were used outside weather protected but Florida heat and humidity. I rank pyle number 1. I understand none of the receivers were rated for outdoor use, but the pyle It worked just as I needed it too. No bells or whistles just a great stereo receiver lasted about 18 months, way longer than any other receiver I've used for the same purpose on powering 8 bose outdoor speakers and 2 outdoor subs around my pool. Yes definitely a high dollar setup my point is the cheapest part of my system was this amazing receiver. Multiple 100 plus foot cable runs, multi chanel inputs for different items, an over all amazing receiver. I ended up using the amazon alexa with the receiver because for the endless apps for music. The receiver did die, but it was because of an over excited house guest splashing water on it from my hot tub, we were doing a lip sync battle lol. I'm buying another one today, which is why I'm writing a very rare review, something I don't do often, again because of the reviews I just read, I will make it a point to review the next one.

We've have for a month and a half and it burned out!! I'm sitting listening and it starts sparking and flashing and blows out! Glad it didn't start a fire! So disappointing!DON'T GET THIS PRODUCT!! WORTHLESS!This sucks I have to rate it to post my comment!!?! its not worth rating!!

THE REMOTE DOES NOT HAVE A POWER ON/OFF BUTTON. TERRIBLE BACK FEED. THE ADD SAYS PORTABLE AND 4 CHANNEL SURROUND SPEAKER CAPABLE. WHAT? PORTABLE IT NEEDS POWER AND INPUT. EVERY RECEIVER IS PORTABLE. YOU CANNOT GET SURROUND SOUND WITH ON 2 OUTPUTS, UNLESS I AM MISSING SOMETHING

This amplifier is fantastic. it replaced a very old 400 watt power amp that i used for 15 years. at first i did not think there was any volume but its due to the slow rotary advancement control. Now that i'm use to it, i can dial in a volume level quickly. don't be afraid to turn the big dial!!! Excellent sound quality as well.

Plugged every thing in, turned it on. Volume is at max, AND, the volume button does not have any affect whatsoever. Fail.

Its an amp. It makes wired speakers work. I got it as a cheap hack / workaround on a Sonos system. And it is doing the trick.Since I'm using with a Sonos system it doesn't matter that it does not have a bluetooth hook otherwise that would be nice. There is no indicated on the volume dial so you just spin it until it gets load enough.

I'm a drummer playing to music off my phone thru this amp. Get a pair of old Bose 401 direct reflecting speakers hooked to this Amp and it will sound like the band is with you in the room. I cannot tell my bass hits from the stereo sound and the rest is awesome as live play. Fan noise from other reviews? yes you can hear it barely, if the amp is on the music is up who cares, not worth mentioning. Volume control is as reported, very non linear, find a decent setting and adjust with your input volume control off the phone works great. NO COMPLAINTS from me LOVE this AMP!!!!

The Cooling Fan is "NOISY', Oh & You can hear it from 20 Feet!!! ALSO, You'll Need The Banana Plug Deadbolts, Amazon Has The "BASICS" 6 Pairs for "A Reasonable Price", & Get The WARRANTY!!! PYLE, "Made in China" "Isn't Very Dependable" & the 1000 Watts, is "Only On 4 Channels" NOT 2 CHANNELS!!! The Volume Control Know isn't Incremented very well either BUT, It Will Drive THE BASS Through The Wall, "Without Clipping". I'll Reserve the Rest of my Opinions AFTER I've used this thing for Awhile. I'm Really Not Impressed With It.

I’ve seen a lot of bad reviews about this system and I have to disagree with most of them. I have 4 heavy duty speakers running through this and the sound quality is fantastic. The fan isn’t as loud as people say and once your music is on you can’t hear it at all. The volume control isn’t very responsive and the remote doesn’t have a power button. Other than that I’m very happy

It arrived on time but was not suitable for what I want when I tried it. I wish to send it back. They say that there is a 15% charge for sending it back but have not explained how or where to return it

I realized that some people complain about the noise when turn on this amplifier and this is the first impression with me when I confronted that big noise. However, I am thinking more to figure out why, the reason is that you should not link the HDMI from the amplifier to the TV or other machine. If you use VGA or DVI, the noise is gone and everything is perfect. The reason is that HDMI has both Video and sound signal, if you would like to use HDMI to link this amplifier for any video purpose finally, the extra electric sound signal from HDMI will be amplified to terrible noise. So please just use VGA or DVI from TV to your other equipment ( such as DVD), and the terrible electrical echo sound should disappear. I guess that is why some people have good review and some people have bad review on this machine. I wrote this review specially to clarify this special characteristic of the HDMI.

Me llegó el equipo en buenas condiciones y a tiempo, lo que no me gustó fue que al principio no me funcionaran las entradas RCA Right correctamente, no había instrucciones para resolverlo y en muchos foros que veía, tenía el mismo problema, lo iba a devolver pero tiré la caja a la basura por error, gracias a ello, se resolvió conectando por error en Output RCA, creo que le faltaba un puenteo y hasta ahorita no he tenido ningún inconveniente, He quedado satisfecho.

only 3 of the 4 speaker ports work, my remote dosent work an has a bad rattle sound, tryed 3 times to get support everytime i did speak to them they needed all kinds of info causeing my screen to refresh to a new agent as i had to get order numbers etc for them , just a giant hassle and still have a non workin system. wasted my money !!!an they won't refund me after iv sent the garbage back!!!!! Where's my money AMAZON ???????
