This Brush Seal is very well made and is similar to what is currently in my windows. It took a long time to arrive since it was shipped from China.I had a problem with the width. It was approximately 1/32 too wide and it would not slide into the window channel. That was probable my error since I could not get the exact width of what was in my windows. The manufacture went out of business about 10 years and there is no information. I used a ruler and should have gotten a micrometer instead. I got creative and used a sharp scissors to trim it. This was a slow process and took some time, but it worked just fine.New Brush Seals in old windows do make a big difference when the cold wind is blowing.

Bought these for the reception doors at work, although I measured the old fuzzy seal and ordered these they were a little smaller for the grove. I think some glue had to be added to help them stay in the grove but not a problem. We will see if they work on the next windy day 👍🏻

Utilisé en remplacement de joints usés sur des fenêtres coulissantes à montants en aluminium possédant des rainures de largeur 7 mm. Ce joint de qualité semblable à celui d'origine possède une "semelle" en plastique semi rigide d'exactement 6,6 mm de large et 0,6 mm d'épaisseur. Il est constitué de poils collés ( ou soudé à chaud ?) dressés sur la semelle plus une lamelle fine de plastique souple au milieu des poils, dans le sens de la longueur pour assurer l'étanchéité. Hauteur totale du joint, semelle et poils dressés : 8 mm environ, peut-être un peu plus. Difficile de dire exactement. Il est indiqué 7x8mm dans le descriptif, ce qui faut comprendre comme "pour rainure de 7 mm, hauteur utile 8 mm.

Fellow at the building centre told me I'd have to replace my window when I tried buying this product locally. Found it online. Once I saw the height of the bristles on the new stuff, it was obvious how worn the weather stripping was. Was a little tricky getting the old stuff out as it was brittle and not flexible at all like the new stuff.

Entra perfectamente en el perfil de aluminio de la ventana corredera. Al realizar la sustitución del burlete viejo por el nuevo se aprecia mayor resistencia a la apertura y cierre por el mayor roce con el burlete. Sólo queda que llegue el invierno y el viento para poder sacar conclusiones.El envío fue mucho mas rápido de lo indicado inicialmente.
