Worked great here in California
Kids have been asking about these movies as they are some of their favorite superhero movies and I agree with them...Captain America is a great hero's hero. Each of the discs comes with 2-4 extra featurettes that range in length from 5minutes to the longest ones on Civil War which felt 20--30minutes each. Nothing like the 15hrs of extras on each of the extended edition Lord of the Rings, but few movies are to that level. So, for a superhero movie series we were happy with the extras provided. The only "extra" we didn't like was on Civil War and it was a big long commercial for Doctor Strange, which had nothing to do with Captain America or the Avengers. At least all the other extras were Captain America focused on the other discs.Playback on my Sony Blu Ray worked perfectly. I was able to pause, fast forward, rewind and skip to scenes without issue. Not my first time purchasing a UK import and again this did not disappoint and I appreciate the savings over the US release. I paid $42 for the set versus $20-$25 for each movie individually. I feel like it was totally worth it.Some of the most family friendly of the Marvel movies, though Tommy Lee Jones likes to say S.O.B. Otherwise, all the Captain America movies are pretty tame and safe for younger audiences too.OVERALL: Watching the movies back-to-back was best, as you more easily remember things in the first movie that come up again in the third movie. Nicely done writers! The First Avenger is a great origin story and leaves the final demise of the Red Skull in a way that he could return some day.Unlike some series, Winter Soldier (movie 2) does not lag, but amps the intensity and action over the first movie. And Civil War (movie 3) is even more fun as it feels like another Avengers movie. Overall very enjoyable series that we can enjoy in the comfort of our home with great clarity and sound on blu ray. Worth getting!

Very happy
3/29/19 I was initially hesitant to purchase with reviews indicating they couldn’t watch or hear the dvds when played however I am very pleased! I had no issues playing the movies or any issue with sound. I do have a Samsung Blu-ray player that’s about 3yrs older, plays perfectly. There is a menu to select the English versions of each of the disks but after selected 🙌.Everything arrived as expected, newly packaged etc. As always happy with prime delivery. I love marvel movies so I would recommend purchase. I plan to buy the Thor movie collection next ☺️5/10/19 I went to play one disk few months after I already watched and there wasn’t any sound. I know there was sound since I watched it already. I had to play another disk then put the one with no sound back in and it began working again. Just FYI-in case anyone ran into trouble. Idk what or why but it’s working again.

It's MCU Captain America: Good, not Great
The MCU films' quality varies quite a bit, although they tend to avoid the basement. The Captain America films are good but not great. They do well in capturing Cap's type of heroism and making his humility and inherent goodness attractive and believable. The movies are not always that well-plotted, and some directing / cinematography choices are questionable (why doesn't Peggy wear a helmet on the battlefield? is she that vain about her perfect hair?). There is near total failure to make Red Skull or Hydra compelling or interesting as villains (a common failing of the MCU films) but they are fun and do well in presenting Cap's story and setting up the Cap of the Avengers films.

Great find for the family
I read some reviews that said this blu-ray wouldn't work on US players but what I found out is that my cheap player doesn't play any of these movies, but my PS3 and Sony player (that cost around 200$) plays the movies just fine. I tried both regular blu-ray and 3D formats which plays just fine like if you bought the movie at a local store. I still have a 3D Visio TV that I use purely for 3D movies and the quality is fantastic which I absolutely love! My PS4 can play the blu-rays no problem but not the 3D movies due to playstation not supporting it on the PS4.
