NF orange 1 Pack 4D Carbon Fiber Car Scuff Plate Door Sill Sticker Panel Protector and a Scraper (35.4inch for Suitable General car)

First thing I notice when I received this protection tape is the mistake in one of the corners (see my pic). Not horrible considering it was so cheap, but would have been nice to have smooth cuts/edges all around.Second thing is that there's no instructions or tips for application, which would have seriously helped. Okay, I mean...seems easy enough to figure out on your own, right? Nope. Read on and learn from my experience and mistakes, people.The sticker comes rolled up, of course. So I left it in my warm trunk (flat, of course) to straighten out. Easy peasy.I had seen on the OEM Honda protectors that they have a strip in the middle that you remove first, so you stick the middle on first, slowly one side using the flat spatula instrument (included) to make sure there are no air bubbles, then slowly do the other side. So I started tearing the backing from the middle until I exposed a little bit of the middle to apply first. BUT my mistake was that I didn't trim the excess backing paper off the TOP of the sticker. This is important (and thr cause of my biggest mistake!) because that excess backing paper prevents you from properly positioning the sticker in the first place! And it is NOT easy to correct a crooked sticker once you peel the backing off and have stuck it on! Yes, you can peel it off and try again, but without the backing paper, it's just an exercise in frustration.I pretty much have to live with a slightly crooked sticker now with some weird, long raised lines due to my clumsy attempt to "stretch" and keep the sticker straight while applying. It's not the end of the world, no...but it irks me. I guess in the end, I'm only out $8. ::slight grumble:: It also is a fairly thick stocker that feels like it's good quality. Maybe down the line, the more I look at the imperfections and it grinds my gears more, I might slap down another $8 for a new sticker and try again.So please learn from my mistake(s?). Pre-trim the backing paper off the top of the sticker to as close to the sticker as you can before applying for optimum positioning. And do try to apply from the middle out. So much easier for both preventing air bubbles and keeping the sticker straight. And most of all... Take your time. Hopefully, this review will help someone get a 5-star review out of this product. Wish it had been me!

I was skeptical of the product after I unrolled it from its packaging because the backing pulled away every few inches because of the way it was rolled up. But I opened it and put some weight on it to flatten it out. The product backing has grid lines on it so,it’s easy to cut to size. I installed all 4 pieces in under 10 minutes. The negative is there were no install instructions, but it’s simple to put on and I cleaned the door sill with alcohol to remove any wax. It looks really good, should prevent scuff marks on my white door sills. Worth the $9.

Cool appearance. Goes on easily and good adhesive keeps it in place.Part 2 of my review. Rating went down. Anywhere that this tape was stretched to conform to the contours in the door sill peeled away. Not at all happy.

Not bad for the price. They are very easy to install. I had to cut mine to fit, but that meant I had more to spread around the car. It's not super adhesive but still stays out for the most part. It curves well width ways. Does not curve well width and length at the same time. Ended up cutting it and putting it length ways where the door frame curves. This really didn't bother me because you can't tell unless you really look and I'm going more for protection then esthetic. Over all not disappointed with the purchase

When you unravel the sticker from the package, I found that leaving it unraveled for a bit maybe under the sun will reduce or eliminate the crease marks from the stickers. It sticks and applies very easily and if you need to reposition the sticker, you simply need to carefully peel off and re-apply. Don't know about durability yet. Will update if it doesn't hold up well.

I ordered these for my 2018 Accord Sport and they fit just right. Didn't take long to install they turned out fine for what i need them to do. I just used a little denatured alcohol to wipe the door sills down then applied the stickers. I didn't even need to use heat to get them smooth the included tool and a bit of patience worked fine. I even had to pull one nearly all the way off because it was crooked and it reapplied just fine.

Applied to mostly flat areas of door opening as designed for. Application easy and adhesion was good. Non stretch so does not conform to curves of door frame such as upward turns when combined with roll over. Does adhere best to flat areas with roll over.
