Happened to be wearing a white blouse the first time I wore this "waterproof raincoat." The coat soaked through and the navy dye bled through onto my white shirt.

NOT waterproof. I got this jacket for our Europe trip with varying weather conditions - thinking it would be perfect for rain or a little cooler Summer evenings. I live in Colorado where it isn’t rainy and didn’t want to splurge for a nicer rain coat. I spent the day in Amsterdam completely damp. The coat was cold and clammy in and out of museums, and I never fully dried out. The fit is nice for over a sweater or bulkier clothing. Only buy if you’re wanting coverage for a light drizzle.

I like that this jacket is long to help keep part of your legs covered with the rain. The jacket does run big. I am 5 foot, 115 lbs and I purchased the small. It is helpful that the draw string are on there to tighten it up. The material is extremely light weight.

The zipper is super cheap and the arms are small. The torso fits fine and it withstands a drizzle to small rain (that's all I've had to expose it to so far). It looks flattering, but I don't see it withstanding the test of time. If you need a cheap rain jacket, it'll do.

If you are like me and can't bother to measure, know that this jacket runs HUGE. I am generally a S petite person and this coat was beyond huge on me.

A size small, which is the smallest size available fits like a large.

It was a gift to my daughter. Bought a small, but wish I had bought a medium so that she had more room to wear a sweater under the jacket.
