Good while it lasted ... get the right size
I ordered 2 of these after reading the reviews. Needed something to keep my 8 month old English Bulldog and 15 month Border Collie busy. They arrived carefully and separately packaged in a padded envelope, but they were completely different looking and were different sizes ... not sure why as I ordered TWO of what I thought was the same thing. They were approximately the same length, but the larger of the two was white and thick and the smaller one was a brownish thinner piece of antler. Both dogs wanted the larger white one ... but the Bulldog won most of the time. Well, 7 days from the day she got started, it was chewed down to the point where it got raggedy and too small. We were concerned it could be swallowed so into the trash it went. The smaller brownish one they really don't want to mess with so I find myself 34 bucks in the hole for one week's worth of chewing. Oops ... looks like the bulldog is back to going after my window sills !! Yikes ... trying to get her away from those is why I bought it in the first place!UPDATE: I received contact from the company regarding this purchase. I appreciate the concern on their part to ensure that I (and my pups) are happy with this purchase. It was recommended that I try the large so that's what I'm going to do and I will update my review later. My dogs loved the antler ... perhaps I got the wrong one. I don't want to misrepresent as I appreciate so much the reviews of products on Amazon and rely on them to make my purchases. So, I want to be sure that my experience is properly reported so YOU can make the right decision for YOUR pets. Not every company will reach out and do what they can to make sure we receive value and I appreciate the interest from the folks at Buck Bone Organics. Stay tuned.August Update: We got the large antlers and I will say that they are much better for my dogs. They are enjoying them and they will definitely last longer. As advertised ... no mess. I appreciate the follow up by the company and their concern. So, make sure you are getting the right size for your dog. Yes, I would purchase again.

UPDATED Review - Great Customer Service
UPDATE - Based on our experience, we emailed Buck Bone and received a response the next day. They sent out a replacement antler at no charge. We have since received that antler which appears to be of a higher quality (like what we had expected) since it has not worn away so quickly (as the first one did). We have upgraded our review based on the high level of customer service received and the fact that they replaced the product and we are pleased with the replacement.Original Review - We received the antler (large whole antler) today and gave it to our dog around 5:30pm. These photos were taken at 8:30pm. This $25 antler deteriorated so quickly that we had to take it away only 3 hours after we opened it. The only reason I gave it one star is because our dog really seemed to enjoy it during the 3 hours that it lasted. As for me, Iβm thoroughly disappointed after paying $25 and waiting 3 days for delivery. Will definitely not be purchasing again.

Well worth the money
My dogs seem to like them. They last quite a bit. However, I am wondering if they are sprayed with something. One of my dogs developed a allergic reaction and I believe was from these. Waiting to heal before we give back. They do last and our pits destroy anything and they take awhile to get through these. I haven't reached out to the company to ask about the spraying. I do take them away after about 30 minutes as they got themselves worked up and needed a break.

It's a hit!
The antler arrived promptly. I was a little concerned that I had ordered the wrong size since it looked small at first glance. In truth, it measured at 5 inches which is within the correct size range for a medium bone which is what I ordered for my 20# doxie...he's a rescue and we're working on his weight :) I love that the antlers are all natural, made in the USA and are naturally shed. I ordered the full antler vice the split antler as I wanted my dog to have to work at the antler for awhile. My dog gave the antler a good sniff over before settling down to chew on it. He kept turning the antler from one end to the another, attempting to get to the marrow. He finally settled on the thicker end and has been happily chewing on the antler off and on for the past few days. We do not give him the antler to chew on unless we are here. He loves it and I will certainly be purchasing another one once this one gets too small to use.

Too small
So I waited until my dog was basically finished with the bone (and by finished I mean too small for her to have any longer) before I wrote a review. My first experience with Buck bones was amazing. I purchased a large, split bone and my dog loved the hell out of it and it actually lasted about three months. The large was about 7 inches long, and 3 inches wide which was perfect because I have a big dog. So when I went to purchase it again I went for a whole bone, and to my dismay I was unable to find a large whole bone that wasn't split. I opted for the medium because I figured it couldn't have been that small...but I was wrong. When I received the bone I actually went online to double check that I did in fact order a medium (even the packaging said medium) because I got a bone that was roughly 3 inches long and an inch wide. I gave it to my dog anyway just to see how long it would last her, and while she did enjoy it I had to take it away from her because once she got halfway through it it became a choking hazard. So my suggestion is if you have a larger breed, stick to the large, split bone.

Brilliant chew for an inquisitive, bite-it-all puppy
This chew is perfect for my dalmatian puppy that keeps testing everything with its razor-sharp teeth. It is "just about the right size", too. After three weeks of intensive play my spotted boy hasn't managed to destroy it - despite everyone's predictions he would chew right through it within hours. Although I haven't had to unpack the spare one just yet (seeing the original one is quite a keeper), I hope this product will be available again, becouse it is very likely we will eventually need yet another one.I can highly recommend this elk antler bone to any four-legged chewer out there.

Incorrect length and not an accurate description
This item is half the size of what the description detailed. Very disappointed as it was twice the price of the competitors and would have been good value if it was the correct length. For clarity it is only 120mm long.
