Works as described
Does a great job of getting the turkey juice from the pan to make gravy with. Works as expected, doesn't leak. Cleaning is simple, as I pop off the top and put both pieces in the dish washer top rack. When clean, I snap back on and it's ready for the next use.

High quality - very happy
The media could not be loaded. The quality of this baster seems very good. The nylon tube should last years, like my previous ones did, and this silicone bulb seems to be very consistent thickness and is very pliable. Shouldn't harden and crack with age like old rubber ones did, or newer cheap plastic bulbs. Bulb to tube connection is tight and holds a vacuum. Graduations (quarter ounces on one side, ml by 5s on the other) are a bit hard to read unless the light is just right, but probably good for a younger person's eyes. I think this will be perfect for my needs, and I'm very happy with the quality.

Well made.. works great
No.. I don't use it for sucking up turkey juices. I use it to check the quality of brake fluid in my cars by drawing out a few ounces from the master cylinders. Works like a charm; a soft squeeze of the bulb and up comes the fluid lickety-split. Very pleased.

a baster is a baster is a baster
My husband needed a baster that he could dedicate to using to retrieve spilled gasoline & put it back into the snow blower. I gave him one from my kitchen, only to find that he had gotten the last one I had! I went looking at the grocery store & since it is not the holiday season - I COULDN'T FIND A SINGLE ONE! After checking another grocery store, I thought "this is crazy". This was one of the lowest price ones offered through Amazon, so I ordered two. It's nothing special, but nothing terrible either. A baster is a baster, is a baster. Eventually, I either lose one part or the other, or the bulb gets a bit of "dry-rot" around where the two pieces snap together. So, I figured at the price of this one, if it lasts only a few years, it is worth the money. I gave it four stars only because it is nothing special. Somewhere, I think I have a stainless steel baster, that came with a specially shaped brush. That would have gotten five stars; but then, it was probably twice the price or more! There was nothing I wanted to know about this item before purchase. It's an acceptable product.

Works best when bulb is pushed on over the the stop ring
As best I can tell, the bulb really is made of silicone rubber. My old baster failed when the natural rubber bulb cracked from age. When the bulb on this baster is installed as pictured in the listing, it can leak very slowly. It could probably be stopped by putting a rubber band around it, but I tried pushing the bulb farther on over and past the stop ring that is supposed to limit how far you push the bulb on. In that configuration, there is no leak at all. I might have been tempted to save a few bucks by buying one of the unbranded clones, but I didn't find one that specified both silicone rubber bulb and nylon (or other high temperature material) tube. The savings isn't enough to offset the risk of getting a lousy product. I already have plenty of cleaning brushes, so including a brush wasn't much of an advantage to me. I'm happy with this.

Silicone bulb
Looking for a cheap blaster with a silicone bulb that would hold up to auto fluids. Using it to suck out brake fluids and oils. This fit the bill

Perfec for vacuuming my small fish tanks!
This baster is perfect for cleaning up the fish tank debris! it does not drip out after suctioning up the bottom of the tank and disposing of the waste. Very pleased with its functioning as a fish tank cleaner! I'm sure using it as a turkey baster would be just perfect too! But, for me, it's a fish tank vacuum!

It's a baster!
It does everything a baster is supposed to do! Not too exciting but definitely very functional! I use this frequently and it has held up and cleaned up nicely every time. I use the baster for the obvious, basting a chicken and such, but I also use it to get excess grease out of the pot when I brown ground beef. The grease is very hot, as you can imagine, and the baster does perfectly fine with this, does not melt or get mis-shapen or anything weird. I like that it sucks up all the liquids pretty easily. The bulb separates from the stick part for ease of cleaning and it cleans up easily with soap and water. I would recommend this if you are looking for a smiple baster! (This is my HONEST opinion. I was not paid nor compensated in any way for this review.)
