Knockoff
Bought these on Amazon after having a few too many drinks one night (meaning I wasn’t paying close enough attention to what I bought). And since I had recently run out of my favorite shade of my Etude House Dear Darling water gel tint (which I actually bought from a store while in Korea on vacation), I, being as drunk as I was, decided to just buy some on Amazon since they aren’t sold in stores here in the U.S.Big mistake of course, because after it arrived in the mail, it was VERY clear that these are knockoffs by some brand called LipHop. There were a bunch of red flags to prove they’re knockoffs1. The words were out of order. The bottle I got said Tint Dear Darling, instead of Dear Darling Tint like it should have2. LipHop was very clearly printed on the front of the bottle in large letters3. The info on the back was a sticker and not etched onto the bottle4. Odd smell5. Wrong consistency6. Finally, everything written on the sticker on the back of the bottle was in English, and the package the bottle comes in is written in Chinese, not Korean like it should be for both.I don’t know why there are knockoffs on the market for these lip tints, given that the real Etude House tints are only maybe 6 or 7 dollars to begin with, but... Oh well. That’s what I get for buying stuff drunk late at night online. But save your money people, and just buy them on the Etude House website, that way you know FOR SURE that you’re getting the real ones!
