Not much to go into here. It is a huge roll for the price and is absolutely 3” wide. I was a bit disappointed because I thought this ribbon wouldn’t have wired edges but it does. Part of my project I didn’t want wire so I just pulled it out after trimming my piece. In the end it worked perfectly for my needs and I have tons left to make more projects. It feels like a thick good quality burlap

I really wanted to love this ribbon, but I could not get past the noxious smell. It's very strong and smells of chemicals. I can't use it for wreaths I'm giving as gifts. I've tried to get the smell out but haven't been able to....going to try washing the entire roll in hopes I can get the smell out that way.

I purchased this ribbon to decorate our Christmas tree. As soon as we got it up, my husband walked into the room and said “What is that smell!?”. I hadn’t noticed it at first, but this ribbon does have a chemical odor that we could smell all the way into the next room.I have used burlap for other projects and am familiar with the typical earthy burlap smell. This ribbon is quite different. It smells like a chemical of some sort. I wonder if it has been treated, as some burlap products are, for pests and fungicide. Maybe a flame retardant? Not sure, but it is definitely not something I want around my family.I took down the ribbon, hoping to return it but apparently it isn’t eligible for a return so I am stuck with stinky ribbon. Bummer.Update: The company contacted me directly and has offered a complete refund. I have increased me review from 1 star to 3 stars to reflect great customer service.

Notes from a Crafty Person:* It's good quality.* Finished edging as much as you can expect from burlap ribbon.* Soft and bendy and not too stiff, but stiff enough to hold shape in a bow.* Doesn't stink like some burlaps I've crafted with.* Soft to the touch on the sides as well as the face.Happy Crafting!

I got these to use on my Christmas tree. They worked well for that but just putting the burlap on the Christmas tree and taking it off, it’s sides starting coming off and they were ripping and tearing. I will still be able to use next year if wanted and can hide the rips and tears. Overall I was happy with this product for what I was using it for.
