A Must-Have for Genealogists
This series provides a wealth of information about early Virginia immigrants, all well documented. It covers not only those who came to Virginia from 1607-1625, but also follows their successive descendants, often for 5 generations. So even if the individuals you are researching did not arrive in Virginia that early, if they married into families that did come from 1607-1625, you will find them in this series, containing a total of 4022 pages, including the thorough index. Do be aware that the alphabetical breakdown for Volume One (Families A-F) is published in 2 separate parts which must be purchased individually. Although the title calls both "Volume One Families A-F," Part A is A-Ch, and Part B includes families Cl-F. The title for these two parts is somewhat misleading and could be handled better. You're buying 4 books, and they should be labeled Volume One, Volume Two, Volume Three, and Volume Four. Neverthless, that is a small issue. The series costs over $270, but is so rich in well-sourced information, the price is definitely a bargain.

Must have for Virginia Researchers
Love this book. Easy to read and follow. Iโm in the process of getting the other 3. A MUST have for all researchers. Some show several generations and it also lists the resources. This book will save you a lot of time. You wonโt be disappointed.

Adventurers of Purse and PersonEvery library sh
An awesome book. This is the book that the Jamestown Society allows for those trying to join the society. You may use your ancestor's information from this book and hopefully it gets down your branch a good ways. That leaves you less that you have to find documentation to prove. Every library should have a copy of this. The "book" comes in 4 volumes but you may purchase the volume that your ancestor is found in.

Everything You Want to Know About Early Settlers of Virgiinia
This is one-half of volume 1. For genealogical research purposes it is necessary to have both halves, including the index. Better still, all three volumes are necessary for serious research into early Virginia. Bet bet: but the whole set together, though it is very expensive.

GENEALOGY
A VALUABLE REFERENCE BOOK FOR THE GENEALOGIST. IT WAS JUST WHAT I NEED FOR MY LATEST RESEARCH. IT TAKES A BIT OF PATIENCE TO READ IT AND SORT OUT THE GENERATIONS, BUT STILL VALUABLE INFORMATION.
