Works Great!!
The shade works perfectly! We bought it to cover an interior courtyard and to shade intense sunlight on our front door. We didn't like the color much but there were no other color options and once up it looked so much better.

So glad we tried this before more expensive options! Update - no problem with hail!
We are loving this thing! We've had it for a couple of months now. We needed some shade on our west-facing deck for the summer and were really close to buying a gazebo-type covering. But this was so inexpensive we figured we'd give it a try. My husband mounted two sides on the side of the house and put black pipe on the deck railing (screwed into the deck floor and also attached at the railing) and he used turnbuckles to attach and tighten it. (This is handy because it sort of continues to stretch and he can keep tightening it.) We've had quite heavy winds with no problems at all.A couple of FYI's:~ It filters light - it's not "solid" though the shade you get from it seems that way - it makes the deck significantly cooler. But if you have a sun allergy or something like that, this is not for you!~ Rain drips right through it - it will not keep you dry. I wanted to stay dry but for the cost of this thing we figured we'd try this first and see and I'm glad we did. It does dry very quickly after rain!~ We didn't need as much height as I figured we would. Our eve is over the deck and so the side along the house is only about 7.5 feet high. We attached the other side to the poles and it's totally fine. I was worried it'd feel really short and crowded but it's no problem. (Probably partially due to the light filtering - if it was heavy and thick it'd probably make it feel a little cave-like.) This could be a problem if you're very tall but only if you have something on the side of your house preventing you from attaching it very high! Also - you could angle it up away from the house if you wanted to (though that'd probably let in more sun!) because rain doesn't run or sheet off of this - it drips right through.~ Keeps our house much cooler as it blocks sun from several windows~ It has no sides so as the sun sets you lose the shade. And of course the shade moves around on the deck as the sun moves - but you'll have that issue with anything!Love this thing - well worth the money!Update: This has been through 2 hail storms (marble to ping-pong size) and still looks perfect. (Adding this June 2019 - the ping pong size hail caused us to get a new roof, replace steel building siding, three new windows, etc. Just to clarify how strong that storm was!) It flexes in the wind incredibly well. Our guess is that the sun will get it before anything else! We're buying an extra since we have everything set up for this size. It still looks perfect and we'll just tuck the second one away for when we need it. (Guessing not for a couple of years.)Update June 2019 - just put this up for its fourth season! Love it so much, still! the top color has faded to an off-white (we have the Sand color) and the bottom still looks like original color. One seam on on edge has frayed in the middle but it doesn't bother us so we leave it. (To be clear, we're in Minnesota and so it goes up in May or June and comes down in September each year.)

It's OK ($$) - be aware of hanging spacing requirements.
The product is ok, but not really worth the price, as it is basically a large sheet of synthetic material. It does come with its own hanging hardware, but the hardware was all 1/4" steel such that you could suspend a light aircraft - vastly overkill for this type of project. Someone might say that it is better to have stronger hanging hardware - however, in the price you are definitely over-paying for that hardware. In any case, all of the hardware that was a part of the kit is available at a Home Depot or Lowe's only for a few dollars. Importantly, given the large hanging hardware that was a part of the kit, you'll need 8 or 10 inches on each side of the sunshade - this is not a part of the Amazon product description and may be a huge factor for you if you are trying to size the shade properly for your sunny space.

In the shade and all the blooms!
Shade Sails are wonderfully versatile, they can be attached to homes, trees, or patio columns. In addition, they can be supported by wood posts or steel columns embedded in concrete footings, and they can also be taken down seasonally as required and is easy to clean with simple soap and water. Also known as Sun Sails, shade sails make beautiful additions to your patio, backyard, or other outdoor areas, while providing excellent protection from the sun and its harmful UV radiation.I received this from the seller for an honest review. I am very excited about my new shade and I posted the above statement because it is true. This was the easiest thing in the world to install and it is beautiful. Now that I have this sun shade installed I can make my patio look beautiful. I have always wanted to garden in the shade because I am allergic and get real sick when I work outside in the sunshine. Now I can have my garden and all my beautiful flowers. Don't miss your chance to have the same. Check them out at this site.

Great patio sun shade!
Great patio sun shade! Purchased it to add some shade to our westward facing patio deck...does a great job. I attached it to soffit (at the bottom ends of the roof trusses which are normally on 16 inch centers) using some 1/4 inch X 3 inch lag eye bolts and then attached it to the outer part of the patio using two 1 inch by 10 ft. long rigid galvanized electrical conduits (NOT the light duty electrical conduit...the cost for this 1" rigid galvanized conduit is in the $35 to $40 range per each piece), one mounted on either side of the patio deck. I attached the conduits to the outside part of the wood deck with two 1 inch U style conduit clamps on each conduit attaching the conduit to both the upper railing and lower (deck level) portions of the deck. We have a 12' by 16' deck and this 9'10'' X 13' size of cover was just right. The cover is a light gold and makes the deck and even inside the house seem brighter and a warm feeling... and blocks the direct sun in the afternoons! Winner. UPDATE... I've added a bungee cord attached with a large binder clip in the middle of the outer edge to dampen the effects of heavy winds...works great!
