Exactly what I needed
All needed hardware (9 nuts and bolts for the support assembly, and 6 screws for securing the supports to a wooden bed frame) are included - you will need a Phillips head screwdriver and a mallet or hammer. Setup was mechanically easy, though time consuming and a little confusing at times. The instructions are a bit light on exactly how the cross supports attach. One side of each cross support has a notch cut out of it - this notch fits around the horizontal angle bar and you attach to the top most bolt hole. It took a little bit to work out exactly which set of holes to use. I also opted to fully unscrew the feet from their plastic receivers and then hammer the receiver into the metal leg piece before screwing the foot back into the receiver. Though the plastic seems to be rugged, I doubt smacking the foot with a hammer and putting that stress on the threads is a great idea and others commented about trouble with the plastic threads failing and I imagine these two things could be related. I've seen others that added a nut to the foot to provide extra support and take some of the stress off the plastic threads, so I'll keep that in mind if I run into any issues though they seem plenty strong for the moment. You'll want to adjust the 3 cross bars to the correct length and lock them in place, attach the optional height extension brackets (leave the bolts finger tight only because you will need to remove one of them), and attach the feet, and then position the three supports paying attention to the orientation of the brackets so that all three are oriented in the same direction. Then attach the center support to the bed using the included screws, and then using the center bar as your reference point attach the cross supports and secure the bars to the bed. Lastly, adjust the feet down to the floor and give it a little test push to ensure there's no wiggle with weight applied. The supports are heavy angle bracket, so there's not much give to them - be sure those feet are all the way down or else you'll be putting all of the weight on the wood bed frame pieces and not realized it until you're on the floor. I was replacing a set of 3 cross supports with feet under a king sized bed. Those legs became damaged when the bed was moved, causing the legs to be pulled forward and twisting. Unfortunately, their design meant that there was no way to safely move the bed without fully disassembling it, which I learned the hard way. The new legs have a few advantages. For one, there is the crossing supports between each leg that prevents any front to back twisting which could otherwise cause the supports to turn and snap the screws securing them to the bed frame as happened with my old supports. The adjusting feet also mean that you can adjust the feet up to move the bed and then adjust them back down once it is in place again. Finally, these legs are quite rugged and would take some very serious conditions for them to bend or break. I'd expect the wood frame to break before these cross supports ever gave out. Once fully assembled and secured, this provided a rock solid platform for my mattress. Though this was a replacement after the previous legs failed and just about anything would have been an improvement, these supports are significantly more stable than the old original legs that came with the bed frame were when new. A nice upgrade overall and I'm very happy with my purchase.

Glideaway X-Support: Rock-Solid Bed Frame Fix with Lightning-Fast Delivery!
As a homeowner tired of a sagging queen-size bed, I purchased the Glideaway X-Support Bed Frame Support System (GS-3 XS Model) on Amazon, and it’s a game-changer! Assembly was a breeze—took me about 15 minutes solo with just a #2 Phillips screwdriver. The clear YouTube video helped align the three cross rails and legs, though the instructions were slightly vague. Its sturdy steel construction provides robust central support, eliminating my box spring’s dip and making my bed feel brand-new. The adjustable design fits full, queen, and king beds perfectly, accommodating my wooden frame. Plus, the immediate delivery was a lifesaver, arriving in two days! Highly recommend for anyone needing a quick, durable bed frame upgrade.

GREAT Mattress support
Re Glideaway X-Support Bed Frame Support System, GS-3 XS Model Got this for my queen bed and it much improved my bed. Get rid of old fashioned bed slats and get this! The support comes in a compact, fairly heavy package. It is made of sturdy steel angle irons and steel strips, took about fifteen minutes to assemble - easy assembly, you need only a #2 Philips screw driver and maybe a wrench or pliers. Most of the assembly time was fiddling around with the fit and placement. Once adjusted you tighten all fasteners and it is STURDY. It was a real pleasure in this throw away world to get a product that is very sturdy and well made. The fit is PERFECT. The frame can adjust to just what you need in both height and width. Accommodates metal or wood bed frames. If I could deduct 1/2 star for Ease Of Assembly I would only for this small reason: The instructions are a bit wonky, it was a little puzzling to fit the cross pieces (the notches go UP) and the height brackets (you may not need them at all - they extend the height for very tall beds). Also I suggest: after a week check the height adjustment on the three legs. They may "settle in" a bit, especially if you have carpets. A very good bed support frame.

great support, relatively straightforward
The movers lost the support feet for our slats so we got this as a replacement. It is much more stable and much more supportive than the three soft wood slats with plastic feet that we had before moving. It's a set of 3 metal slats, adjustable width, with one foot per slat and 2 cross braces to attach the slats together. The metal slats consist of 2 L channel type pieces (with flat ends) with a clamping piece to hold them together. The feet (and optional height extensions) and cross braces attach to the clamping piece. To install on a wooden bed frame you will need a flat head screwdriver, a philips head screwdriver, and possibly a measuring tape. To install, adjust the slats until you get the right width, install the height extensions (if you need them), insert the feet, and attach the cross braces. The instructions say to check the height first but if you're not sure it's easier to get the slats roughly in position first so you can check. Other reviewers correctly point out that there are not enough bolts if you use the extensions and want 4 bolts per leg. That's not to say there aren't enough bolts to put it together, the cross brace bolts also go through the extension pieces so you can probably get away with 3 bolts per leg, with 2 going through the cross brace and extension and one for the extension alone. You do need to make sure the clamp pieces with the feet are lined up before you attach the cross braces. Be sure not to overtighten anything before you have it all connected (e.g. keep it finger tight and save that screwdriver for later). After you have everything lined up and attached, screw the slats down to the frame (philips head). Then tighten the bolts (flat head) and make your final adjustment to the feet. Caveats: You need to make sure that your bed frame can tolerate the spacing needed for the cross braces (i.e. if the potential attachment points are limited) -- if I remember correctly this is roughly 72cm. On our bed the wooden lip (potential attachment regions) is in 3 segments with the first and second segments closer to the center of the bed than the cross brace spacing. This is easy enough to figure out by examining the components and using a measuring tape. We were able to accommodate one of the two cross braces, and chose to place it between the slats closer to the head and middle of the bed; the slat closer to the foot of the bed is not attached to the middle slat because the spacing is too close. 4 stars because it didn't quite fit the geometry of my bed frame and I would have preferred more bolts. I know it probably doesn't need more bolts, but I don't like it that I had to make the decision on which bolt hole not to use. It was relatively easy for 2 people to install and I think 1 person would be able to do it equally well. The most complicated aspect of the installation was figuring our how to use it given the apparent eccentricities of our particular bed and moving the mattress.

FINALLY a solution! Your back will thank you.
My partner and I struggled for a few years (!!) with our high-end box top mattress and box springs sinking in the middle and causing us to roll towards each other in our queen bed. Our wooden bed, while newer, just didn’t come with adequate support. Seriously- they just provided an assortment of 2x4 boards. We tried to build our own center supports, which helped a little, but was lacking. After considerable research and reading the reviews on this system (along with many sleepless nights, tired days and aching backs and joints) we decided to take the plunge and invest in this. It was not completely turn-key easy to assemble, but the other reviewers helped us immensely. So, be sure to read the reviews. We did purchase extra hardware to add to the support. Unsure if it was truly necessary, but it certainly didn’t hurt. This does require attachment to the bed frame, so make sure there is enough of a lip to do so, and use a drill. I would recommend putting this together with a partner. It’s possible alone, but would be much more challenging. There is a video on YouTube that helps a little bit, but we had some initial trial and error (before drilling anything!) to figure it out. It took us about 2 hours to assemble and secure the bed. A little sweat equity went a long way- we immediately noticed a difference like night and day. We no longer roll towards each other, our backs feel better and we are sleeping so much better for nearly a year now. The product has remained in place and hasn’t shifted a bit! Very sturdy and 100% worth the investment.

Perfect solution
This was exactly what I needed after the existing metal slats/support legs on my bed got warped and twisted after years of use on hardwood floors. (And enthusiastic adult activities...) The package came quickly, the package included everything I needed and then some. The install for me was very simple and straightforward. I did not end up needing a drill, and I was able to adjust it perfectly to fit across and height wise (the legs have extenders if you have a taller bed but I didnt need them). I was able to put this together by myself and I'm not the strongest or handiest person around. I'd recommend this product if you love your current bed frame and don't want to replace the whole thing. Which is exactly what I needed because its part of a furniture set that I was given by my grandparents :)

Interrupted sleep GONE!
The king bed we have would creak and groan each time either my wife or I would get into or out of bed. It was so annoying and interrupted sleep when one had to get up in the middle of the night. My initial attack to fix the problem: I removed the mattress and box springs, placed felt backing between each of the four slats and where the slats contacted the bed rails, then tightened all the screws holding both the slats and rails in place. I even added screws to the rails in case that was the problem. No luck. Same groan and creaking noise, and it wasn't my back... Decided to replace the wood slats with metal slats and combed the internet. The X-support slats were my choice solely because of the bracing for the unit. The fact that there were only 3 slats worried me a little. The unit arrived in a smaller box than I anticipated, but it was all there. A bit of preplanning and loose assembly before getting to the actual installation helps. The legs are fully adjustable for the bed height. The cross bracing (X-Support, I guess) is superb at stabilizing the entire unit in place. The legs stay perfectly vertical. The whole unit installed in about 25 minutes. I shouldn't have worried about 3 slats in place of the 4 wooden ones. The steel is quite strong and stable. SO...with everything in place and tightened down, the box springs and heavy mattress went back in place. The result: absolute quiet. Not a sound when getting in our out of bed. Nothing! I examined the old slats, they were only 12 years old and were about 4 inch wide by 3/4 inch thick and made of a birch veneered plywood. The glue in the layers of plywood had dried out and failed over the years, the noise was literally wood layers scraping each time the weight on the bed shifted. Can't say enough about the X-Support GS-3XS Steel Support System. Well designed, properly engineered. A very good product!

Excellent
Bought a new wood bed but the slats they included were a joke. Bought and installed this and it is supporting a king sized foundation and mattress without any problems (I did use sliders - instead of casters - to better protect the carpet, though the feet are of a pretty good quality). I didn't need to use the optional height adjusters on the center legs. I do wish they included or offered additional supports that would fit closer to the head and foot of the bed - so don't sit on the end of the mattress or you could damage your foundation unless it sits on a rail on your frame. Of course at this price I can't complain (and I didn't see any other product that included them either). The center piece running from the foot to the head includes an accordion style brace between the struts/wings/whatever they call the supports that run from side to side. No problems putting it together, pretty simple design if you take a minute to look at the instructions. I did have to reassemble one section because I didn't pay attention but it was a simple fix. The pieces running from side to side screw into the support rail on the inside of the frame so it stays pretty secure. All in all I am pretty satisfied with this product. It does what it claims to do, though I would like the option of additional supports at the head and foot.

Solid adjustable support
Although this product refers to use with wood side rails, our queen bed has steel rails. Nevertheless, installation was not difficult by following the easy to read instructions. I did skip the step of drilling the side rails. Instead, the system lies directly on the side rails with the weight of the foundation and mattress holding it in place. The cross bracing in the center maintains the integrity of the 3 cross rails. I had read in a previous review that the instructions were poor and hard to follow, but that's not the case at all. The system is adjustable over a wide height range. Our bed rails sit at the low end of the range and the parts kit includes 3 risers for use with rails at the high end of the range.

A great alternative for flimsy support
My partner and I purchased the Glideway Support System after the existing support legs on our bed set broke off. We tried to get replacement parts from Structube but they weren't much help. We tried DIY fixes with industrial-strength adhesive but the legs wouldn't stay. The Glideway set is just what we were looking for. It took us about 20-30 mins to set-up. It feels sturdy. I can see it lasting us for quite some time. Installing the "cross rails" was confusing. Mine don't line up perfectly. I think that's on me though, not the product.
