Oh, what a frustration. Nicest folding wireless charger ever. It's slim, compact, folds to multiple angles, grips the phone well etc etc. Cannot fault it. So why am I returning it. My case, which is a superb "multiple folding angles, card holder type (so no I am not changing cases) just won't charge except in horizontal mode. It misses by a mm or 2 as I need to open the vertical [swing-out] stand and hang the phone [in its case] from the top of this charger thus shortening the length or reach of the phone to enable it to rest on/reach the protruding stand "rest"). Hence, no fault of the charger. I am so, so disappointed as for anyone with a straight-forward slim case without a stand mechanism this is by far the smartest looking and travel friendly wireless charger I have come across (I have searched heaven and earth for a one that folds and is as functional as this one but they all have "issues" (clumsy or too fussy folding mechanisms, the stand rest is too small, horrible shapes, slippery backrests, bright flashing lights etc - I could go on) but this case is perfect. Summary: Buy it, it's great but not if you have a case like mine or a case that is too thick. It's a trade-off frankly but I love my case better and frankly it's hardly a big deal to just stick the phone on to a lightening connector stand (iPhone users). I am beginning to wonder is it really much more convenient simply being able to plonk your phone on the charger without having to connect to a physical connector/plug. It's only quicker by say, half of a second.

As others have said it doesn't charge properly through my original Samsung case and I have a galaxy S10 phone. It starts to charge and the light turns green. Within 5-10 seconds it has gone red. This means I wake up in the morning with no charge on my phone. Very disappointed. Total waste of money. No idea if it can be returned. I do not recommend this charger.
