Interactive and unusual shapes
This is a fun, interactive book for babies about shapes. I think my 6 month old is a little young for it still, as she tries to eat the removable cardboard shapes (which are obviously not meant for teething). It has more "advanced" shapes than most shape books, with things like flowers and stars, but on the reverse of the cut-outs of those shapes are more basic shapes, so on the back of the flower cut-out is a circle (the center of the flower) and an oval (a petal).Baby really likes the hidden pictures under the cut-outs as well. This is definitely a more interesting book than most baby books, but that could be because it is for an audience less prone to eating their books.

hard to take puzzles out
i think the puzzle is too perfectly carved out, it's actually hard for me and my husband to take each piece out and put back in. my daughter (12 months now) wants to play with it but she couldn't. hope it will work better for her after couple monthsprints are good.

Great Toddler Book
I bought it for my 13 month old boy. He loved it. It's a puzzle book and it's very interactive, with very cute pictures in it. I definitely recommend it!

Great idea, but shapes inside too stiff to easily remove and slot back in place
I love the idea of this puzzle book, but this particular puzzle book doesn't really work. The shapes inside are really hard to remove and slot them back in place inside the book, so my 18 month old loses interest very quickly with it as she cannot do it herself. My 4 year old also struggles and always asks me to do it for him, and even I find it difficult to do! It's just too stiff. I don't know if in time the shapes and holes they go into will become less stiff and easier to remove and slot back into place. But I doubt it. I have another shapes puzzle book that they both love and play with a lot (and they fight over it too!), I was hoping with two shape puzzle books in the house there would be less fighting between them...but they just don't like this one so they continue to fight over the other one.
