GRS 4FR-8 Full-Range 4-1/2" Speaker Pioneer Type A11EC80-02F 8 Ohm

Used to refurb my 1975 Rectilinear XIa bookshelf speakers. The front panel of the speaker boxes needed some trimming to properly fit these speakers, but it worked out very well. These are awesome tweeters.

Just what I needed as a replacement speaker for a 1950 Motorola television set. Works great!

only limitation on these is low power rating--15 watts rms, 30 max. hence 2 per the cabinet. sound is okay in homebuilt enclosure, (must tweak): being a cabinetmaker helps as nothing is ever permanent insofar as shape or materials. that's the fun of it. and with the price for both being what it is (way reasonable), disappointment isn't an option. not shielded, so i'd avoid computer applications.

Tough, heavy duty, sounds great, good value. Fits perfectly, easy to install, works very well.

Bought 2 of these, as they are sold as a single speaker, and not as a pair. They are one of few 4.5" speaker options on Amazon. It's unfortunately much deeper then the stock speaker, and magnet diameter is much larger then the stock speaker. The mounting holes, and foam surround, are both in perfect alignment however. So wish they would have fit into my Panasonic RX-5100, but they are just to deep, to fit in. It hits the transformer and heat sync. I unfortunately had to return them. But they do appear to be one awesome speaker though! Very heavy. Also wish it was 3 or 4 ohm. vs 8ohm. I will keep looking.

Used to replace old speakers on towers and man oh man they are amazing! Super loud! Super clean and crisp! Highly recommended

The price was right. I got the speaker to replace a bad speaker in my 1970 bose 901 speakers. It d did the job and blend right in with rhe remaining speakers.. What counts, my vintage stereo system is back up and sounds great..👍
