Great mask!
This mask comes with a scooper to allow for you to scoop the mask out of the jar without using your fingers. I use a facial brush to put the mask on. This mask was recommended to my by the lady who does my facials. I use this mask once a week after using kerafole( an exfoliator by the same brand) and I really like this mask. It has kept my combination, acne prone skin in check. It is not too drying and it comes off very easily. Overall a great mask for acne prone skin that is also very soothing.

Clay hardens in jar
The clay hardens in the container fairly quickly. I love bioelements in general but I'm going to look for a different mask to use.

Great for sensitive skin
I have skin sensitivity issues and have to be careful of the products I put on my face. Salicylic acid products are my worst nightmare as I have mild rosacea but have learned how to keep it under control over the years. Strong fragrances also tend o irritate me.I have oily combination skin, oily in the T zone but my skin tends to the "dry-oily" for those of you who know what I mean. For example, I can't use semi-solid cream foundations out of a compact because they look like they sit on top of my skin and dry it out. I use only department store quality foundations (or Sephora which are higher end products than typical retail). I also use California Baby face & body cleanser for sensitive skin as there is zero irritation and it doesn't strip my skin.I usually use Mary Kay's clay mask for sensitive skin, and my skin tolerates it but there is definite irritation for about an hour or so after using it until my skin calms down. For that reason, I'd only use it at night before bedtime so my skin has time to calm down.I like the Bioelements product, but the consistency of Mary Kay's mask I think is better. What I do like about Bioelements Restorative Clay is that it caused zero irritation - for that I give an A+. It is also absent of fragrance, another plus in my book. It does tend to "flake" more as it dries, a complaint I've read about prior to purchasing the product, but by the time it flakes it has probably pulled excess oil out of your pores anyway. Mary Kay's product is creamier, and seems to go on thicker and I apply it liberally. I didn't apply the Bioelements as thick as I normally would, simply because it's a small 2.5 oz jar and the price is hefty for the amount of product you get, in my opinion. It worked great - rinses with the help of a washcloth like most clay masks, and non irritating. My skin had no redness after the fact. Definitely cleared my pores of sebum / oil buildup, rinsed off my skin without making it red like the Mary Kay mask does, and left my skin feeling smooth.I wish the price was more reasonable for the 2.5 oz bottle. Mary Kay Clarifying Mask (formula 3) is a 4 oz tube, which is also nice because the product is less prone to contamination in a tube vs. a jar that Bioelements is sold in. Neither products are gritty, which is a benefit for sensitive skin as gritty exfoliants only irritate my rosacea. I don't remember the cost of the MK product, but I'm guessing it's a better value.I like them both, but if irritation is your number one priority, my vote goes for Bioelements. Still, I think Mary Kay, aside from the fragrance, is a nice clay mask for oily skin.
