A Delicious and Nutrient-Rich Choice
The Isopure Chocolate Vegan Protein Powder has truly exceeded my expectations as a plant-based protein supplement. Here's why I can't get enough of it: 1. **Delicious as Real Chocolate (5/5):** This protein powder is a game-changer when it comes to flavor. It not only provides a satisfying dose of protein but also tastes remarkably close to real chocolate. It's a guilt-free way to satisfy your sweet tooth while nourishing your body. 2. **Generous Size (5/5):** The container's size offers great value for your money, providing 20 servings in one package. This means you won't have to constantly restock, making it a practical and cost-effective choice. 3. **Versatile for Baking (5/5):** The versatility of this protein powder extends beyond shakes. It's an excellent ingredient for baking, allowing you to infuse your favorite recipes with added protein without compromising on taste. 4. **Optimal Protein Content (5/5):** The protein content is impressive, ensuring that you get a substantial amount with each serving. It's perfect for post-workout recovery or as a protein-rich addition to your daily diet. 5. **Low in Fat and Carbs (5/5):** For those conscious about their fat and carb intake, this protein powder is a winner. It's low in both categories, making it suitable for a wide range of dietary preferences. In summary, the Isopure Chocolate Vegan Protein Powder is a delightful and nutrient-rich addition to your diet. It not only excels in taste but also offers a generous portion size, versatility for baking, and an optimal protein content. With its low fat and carb content, it's a versatile choice that caters to various dietary needs and preferences.

Real chocolate taste, low grit
I didn't know what to expect being 2 net carbs and containing stevia which I hate and monk fruit which I can tolerate in very small doses. This is surprisingly delicious! It tastes like chocolate without that awful aftertaste noticeable with stevia and in most other protein powders I've tried. It's a light cocoa flavor, and blends very well without the grittiness most powders leave behind. I use it in my bulletproof coffee for a nice low carb mocha, and it mixes so well in green smoothies to offset the earthiness in avocado and spinach. It's competitively priced and a little goes a long way. This is definitely one of the top protein powders out there for taste and I was also pleasantly surprised to learn there were small amounts of iron and potassium to benefit from. It's quite good.

One bad experience, but perfect otherwise!!
I’m giving this 4 stars only because after buying this about 5 other times, one batch I got (chocolate) did not taste the same and had chunks floating in it when it normally would not. I just sucked it up and chalked it up to a bad batch but it was hard to choke down everyday. I just ordered a new one figuring this would be the deciding factor if I never was going to buy it again and it’s totally fine. Aside from the bad batch this my favorite protein I’ve ever had. I’m not vegan but I drank whey for YEARS and got so sick of it. I love the thick and creamy consistency and the flavor is a really good natural chocolate. I have recommended this to non-vegan friends in the past and I will continue to do so!!

Chocolate Flavor review
First, let me say that there are reviews here for various flavors, and I have only tried the chocolate. I was looking for a plant based protein powder, and I like Isopure products, so am trying it. According to what I see, it actually has more BCCAs than the Isopure Whey, though I do not know the specific break down of the various amino acids. I have used it in a blender and in a shaker, and both worked well. I usually add a little water or almond milk, then the powder, then more liquid, and i have no problems with clumping. The taste is good to me, and i have blended it alone, with iced coffee, with bananas and blueberries, and with strawberries. I guess I'm just not picky. It is manufactured in Illinois farm country, though I am not sure the peas and rice are grown here. How it works in the body vs something else...How in the world would I ever know? It says it's vegan pea and brown rice protein, which should be complete, so... Thanks for letting me share my thoughts.

Good Protein Shake
Good protein shake. Taste like chocolate but also has a bit of an after taste, other than that this product is great!

Get it if you're lactose intolerant, not for the taste.
There's very little option for protein powder that is both 100% lactose-free and soy free. I'm the type of person that likes to chug protein powder with as little water as possible, enough to turn it into liquid. I don't bother with making a fancy smoothie or whatnot. I think of protein powder as a protein supplement, not a taste enhancer. That being said this is probably one of the worst-tasting protein powders from this line. I would be O.K with it if I didn't have to mix much water into it and just swallow it down but it being plant-based, it seems to take a lot of water to turn it liquid. Like it probably takes two or three times the amount of water to make it even drinkable. Even then it feels like I'm chugging chunky chocolate pudding gone bad. Maybe it would taste fine if you made it like a chocolate shake or something, but I don't want to make a 16oz smoothie. It defeats the purpose for me a bit. Maybe if it didn't have that artificial sweet taste to it that lingers in your mouth it would be fine too... but it has that weird Stevia aftertaste to it. I guess you gotta take the pros and cons. With this, I wonder if they could have just leaned all the way towards it being bland, tasteless, and efficient. But instead, they tried playing both sides and made an artificially sweetened chunky pudding mix. If you don't have any other options for lactose/soy-free protein powder, this is a pretty good bang for your buck. That being said, be prepared for a very unpleasant chugging experience.

Superior, clean, tasty
I've tried lots of bargain protein shakes. This is a winner! The quality of the protein is high! I struggle with whey products because they upset my stomach and found out that vegan protein is much better on my tummy! These taste good. They're easy to make ahead and store and don't have a chalky consistency! Highly recommend! Major bonus for low carb! But I wish the container was bigger!:)

Note the gums: good for a blender bottle, not so good for a blender.
Getting some basics out of the way first, the taste of this powder is very good on its own. I chose the chocolate and it's of the milky variety--very similar to a Swissmiss or Carnation hot chocolate packet. The texture is very finely powderized, and there seems to be some other ingredients in here that help it shake very nicely in a blender bottle. Unlike some other pea proteins, like Vega One, you won't feel those sandy bits in your throat when you drink a Nature's Best protein shake. The one weakness with this powder is that it doesn't work well in smoothies. It has two different kinds of gum in it--and enough of each that this powder causes any smoothie to thicken into a gelatinous pudding when blended with things like banana or peanut butter. I have to use extra liquid because that's kind of gross to try to "drink". I also have to say that, because the chocolate powder is already pretty sweet and milky on its own, adding fruits can make smoothies a little too dessert-like for my tastes. Overall, I'd recommend trying this protein if you just like to shake your stuff in a blender bottle. If you prefer drinking smoothies after your workout, I'd look elsewhere.

Good ingredients, good taste
It is one of the vegan protein powders not using synthetic sweeteners and is good tasting. Doesn't have many ingredients, and only two good sources of protein, rice and pea. Only bad thing is for a high price, doesn't come in 3 lb tubs like other Isopure protein powders.
