Ferrous Gluconate, 324mg, 100 Tablets, 3-Pack

Easy to swallow, coating tastes sweet. I don't take pills easily but these are fine to take even twice per day. Doctor recommended this dose for me. I have found if I drink milk products within 2-4 hours of taking it can upset my stomach.

This is an iron supplement that I have used for a very long time because it is easy on the stomach. To find it at the amazon price is great.

If you're even looking at this product you presumably have anemia or have been told you're at risk for anemia. The dose is very high for anyone who does not have anemia. But if you have low ferritin levels, you have probably been told you will need to supplement with a lot of iron for a long time.These are easy to swallow and have minimal digestive effects, taken with or without food. If you have tried taking the more common and cheaper ferrous sulfate supplements you probably know how miserable those are once they dissolve. For me at least these have no significant stomach upset or side effects. I have also had good luck with ferrous glycinate, which is slightly different chemically but another option that's easier on the stomach. This specific product is cheaper though and has twice as much iron per pill, so it's an obvious first choice.

I love the price of this product. It works very well for me. I have to take this product daily as I have an issue absorbing nutrients from food. I will be ordering this product every four months for most likely the rest of my life.

The size is like a green m&m, easy to swallow. They stink so gotta keep them in the bottle (as opposed to my pill box.) They're not in my mouth long enough to taste. (I'm addressing the rankings questions.) I did end up finding something cheaper at Walgreens.com ($3.99/bottle) so will get those next time. I'll stick with gluconate for my stomach, sulfate is harsh. All in all, aside from a little pricier (not bad tho) these are fine. Fast delivery is important to me. 2 days is great.

These tablets are exactly what my doctor suggested I needed. Amazon price is less than the local market!
