These should be standard for 3rd and maybe even 4th grade! Smaller but still has a middle line to help kids size their letters. My 3rd grader’s handwriting has improved so much! I wish there was a 4th grade one or that it didn’t say 3rd grade on it so we could use them next year without kids feeling like it’s childish.

I looked everywhere and found k-2 ,5th and just reg composition tablets but couldn’t find 3rd grade ones that didn’t cost a small fortune or only sold in big bulk packs . I was so excited when I found this deal on exactly what I needed . My niece was super happy I got her 2 red 3rd grade Composition books for her school supplies. Since it only had 50 double sided pages in it I setup my subscribe and save order to ship my niece a new one in Jan2023 . I love that I can save a % off it too . I’m happy this company makes them specific 3rd graders . I do recommend this to anybody looking for a 3rd grade student or teacher gift or school supplies: it could be used by younger students that wanted to challenge themselves too . Happy kid =happy mom

Delivered on time and good quality. Was much easier than searching crowded stores. I paid more but it was worth it!

Wished it was thicker, perfect size lines for my 3rd grader

The quality of the composition notebooks is nice and are helpful for children who have a difficult time in space their letters and keeping them on the lines. I use these with students from grades 2-7.

Be careful! The line ruling for the paper is the same 'rule' ratio that you learned to write letters when you were in kindergarten. The paper and the cover are also a bit cheap. I know the dimensions are there but I didn't get that when I ordered so wanted to have others be aware. This book would likely be great for elementary school age or others who need just a few lines per page.

I have my daughter write in her journal almost every day as a way to improve her reading and writing skills. Her teacher suggested having primary paper so that she could write the same way she writes at school. No where in town had a primary journal, so I bought this one from Amazon. Perfect! It's well-bound so she can use it all year. The paper is exactly what she uses in her first grade class at school. Very happy with this notebook!

These are really great to help out kids who were never taught handwriting consistently at school. The paper is the same size as wide ruled paper, which my son uses at school. My son went through the school system being told to use Chromebooks and other technology. Now at high school, he has to handwrite essays (thanks to chat GBT) so suddenly needed to practise his handwriting and writing stamina. So great for 15 year olds too!!!
