My HP laptop, which is brand new, started giving me problems recently connecting to the home wifi. No one else's devices was having any issues with internet connection or speed. I figured it was probably the laptop wifi device having issues, because it couldn't find my phone hotspot either. I got this TP-Link AC600 device. The minute I plugged it into the USB, it started flashing green and even without downloading any drivers or using the included CD, BOOM it connected instantly to the internet and now my wifi is working without an issue! Love how affordable this was and how easy it was to just plug-and-play! I'm so grateful this item exists and I can keep using my laptop!

My old win 8.1 laptop onboard wifi network adapter would not see my new 2025 year wifi at home, and when it did happen to see it, it had a error message that said cannot connect to this network. As soon as I installed this USB wifi adapter and the driver for it on the cd that came with the wifi adapter it instantly seen my home network wifi and connected. Speeds are good. No problems whatsoever. Very pleased with this item. This solved the issue and works well.

This USB WiFi adapter is great! Originally, I was using different TP-Link (TL-WN823N) and was getting awful speeds, usually around 5-10 mbps download speed which was weird since my phone was getting around 200-250 mbps download speed in the same location. With this unit, I am now getting around 250-300 mbps download speed. It was a great upgrade to my current USB WiFi adapter and makes downloading, updating, and playing video games much faster. If your internet speeds are running slower on your desktop compared to your phone, I would recommend giving this WiFi adapter a try!

Came with a CD, who supports that LOL. Luckily the instructions point to a download page, and although it was not immediately clear which to download I was able to. It helped that I was on the wired network or this might have been a very difficult task. Once it I went through the setup it worked quickly and easily. I guess I would suggest that being a USB device perhaps the driver could be internal or a separate usb drive.

My mbps went from an average of 20-50 with lows of even 5, straight to a high of 275 and average of 160 to 250. For example downloading cod 3 went from 5 hr to less than 1 hr. I recommend 100% my setup is currently in the basement which does add to the slowe speed but this adapter changed it drastically.

Really easy to set up and adequate speeds on 5ghz. Was getting around 300 down, 180 up on the AC600, slower than hardwiring, but for a second PC where that wasn't feasible, this is quick and cheap solution. If anything I wish it would bend easier side to side so I'm not scared of bumping and breaking it, but that's pretty minor.

I bought this TP-Link WiFi USB Adapter (Archer TXE50UH) to replace a CUDY WU1300 AC 1300Mbps WiFi USB Adapter (also from Amazon) because the CUDY Wifi Adapter's performance has degraded since I originally bought it in January 28, 2023. Now I have very fast Internet response time using this TP-Link Wifi USB Adapter connected to my very fast Lenovo P620 workstation. I shutdown the workstation first, then removed the old CUDY WIFI USB Adapter, launched again Windows 10, followed the setup instructions provided by the manufacturer to install the TP-Link software using the supplied CD containing the TP-Link USB software driver. The TP-Link Software Driver is installed and controlled by the standard Windows 10 Program Installation (shown in the second uploaded image) and therefore the driver can be upgraded in the future because the TP-Link software sub-directory is located in the C:\ hard disk drive (third image). My original CUDY Wifi Adapter when installed in Windows 10 has no indication of where the drivers are located in the PC and there is NO way for me to install a newer version of the CUDY Wifi driver. The CUDY Wifi Adapter is NO longer sold by Amazon.Update 01/30/2025 - I changed the number of stars of this TP-Link WiFi USB Adapter (Archer TXE50UH) from 5to 2 stars because I am experiencing internet disconnections randomly during the day and most disconnectionslate at night (11:00PM-12:00 midnight when I am using a fast Lenovo P620 workstation). My home internet serviceprovider is Verizon FIOS so there is NO reason for any disconnection as web traffic from many users go through the optical cable network of Verizon FIOS. I still have the internet disconnection problems even if I updated the softwaredriver of the TP-Link WiFi USB Adapter. I never had this disconnection problems at all using the new TECHKEYDual Antenna WiFi 6E USB Adapter that replaced the TP-Link WiFi USB Adapter (Archer TXE50UH).Update 02/25/2025 - I re-connected this TP-Link WiFi USB Adapter (Archer TXE50UH) to replace the failing Techkey AXE5400 Mbps Dual 5Dbi High Gain Antennas WiFi 6E Wireless adapter and re-installed its latest software driver. I did compare my latest software download with the last download I made last January 2025 and there was no change at all. When the TP-Link Wifi Adapter started working, I stayed up to the morning of 02/27/2025 to test if there would again be any disconnection problem and I had no disconnection problems at all. Therefore, I am changing my reviewof this TP-Link (Archer TXE50UH) WiFi 6E USB Adapter to 5-stars.
