More than bright enough for my needs in a small package. I prefer AA flashlights because I always have AA batteries around. It's brighter than my Terralux Lightstar 220 and is more compact. I like the fact that it doesn't have a bunch of goofy buttons or programmable functions. It's a rear forward clicky that has a great momentary contact. Brightness is controlled by twisting the head a quarter turn. That's it, nothing fancy, just a nice light that runs on common batteries and puts off a nice neutral colored beam.The difference between high and low output modes is not as dramatic as the ratings would have you believe. The low setting is more than bright enough for most activities.The size of the light is perfect for sliding into Molle/PALS webbing, so if you have a tactical pack, vest, shirt, hat, seat, dog, cat or anything else people put webbing on, you can store this light securely there.

Best LED flashlight I've purchased. I am simply amazed at how bright this this actually is. I took it on a caving adventure. Most other people had those cheap bargain store LED flashlights with week beams. My flashlight clearly stood out from the pack. I'm so impressed that I'm going to buy a few more for the cars and the house for those unexpected emergencies.

Well made light and bright beam. We brought it on vacation to Costa Rica to see the rainforests and it worked perfectly, throwing a long beam. I bought a set of nimh rechargeable AAs and they worked perfectly. It was hard to choose a flashlight with all the options and prices, but I'm glad I picked this one. Comes with extra o-rings but I doubt I'll need them.

Simple... BUY IT... perfect flashlight to have in your desk,nightstand, car, even on your person. amazing lighting capabilities. sturdy nice weight.
