Q: Would this cover burn in on an lg cx?

I bought a oled lg c9 last year from what I was told and researched the only warranty company that covers it is Best Buy. Haven’t had any problems with my oled but it’s only been a year. FYI the warranties at Best Buy are more expensive as well but for me it’s worth it. That’s a lot of money to give out not to buy a warranty for it! Hope this helps.

Most warranty will not cover "typical" burn in because burn in happens from everyday use of the item. An OLED is not broke nor defective if burn in occurs and the manual states it. In 3 years the OLED burn in issue will probably be eliminated as the tech gets better, but for now anyone that wants to use an OLED for a PC or static images know burn in is most likely going to happen.

In-home, depot or carry-in service may be available; the customer service representative will inform you what type of service your product qualifies for during the filing of the claim. We will pay for the cost of shipping your product to and from the authorized service center if depot service is required.
