The messages in this book speak volumes to me. To bury a son, my only child at his young age of 34. To have custody of his precious 5 year old daughter at the time. To be the one that had to tell her Jesus called her daddy home to be an Angel to watch over so many of us from Heaven. Now those are Crushing times! Thank you Bishop... Thank you to the Holy Spirit for blessing T.D. Jakes with the wisdom to write just what I needed to read during my Crushing times. I have purchased 10 books thus far to bless friends that are going through Crushing times.

I love the personal effect this book had on me, personally. An excellent read that everyone can identify and relate to on a very personal level! I highly recommend this book!

I am glad that I read Crushing. I needed to know & understand the what & why of what I am moving through. Bishop Jakes is an excellent teacher. He has a way of offering clarity in all that he writes.I needed to know how to move on and through this current crushing situation and Bishop Jakes gave Me the clarity that I was seeking in order to do just that. The devotions in this book added a different kind energy to my daily reading. I am thankful for that.
