Murdoch Mysteries Ultimate Collection Seasons 1-12 + Movies

We've been watching Murdock Mysteries on Netflix and were frustrated by the quality of the transmission on some episodes that we missed because they were so broken up as to be not suitable to watch. These DVDs are great and we are enjoying starting over and watching them uninterrupted. There at more episodes than what we get in Netfix so that is a real plus. I didn't even know there were movies!!

Hard not to love each and every adventure with the Murdoch Mysteries, or, the Artful Detective on TV. Fell in love with this show when visiting friends and they just had to show us this series. Well, we recorded each one as they came along, then saw you had the box set of the first 10 years!! We try to parcel them out, so they will last, how crazy is that? Try one show and see if you don't fall in love with the characters. Each person has just a well rounded personality that you just want to be with.

Murdoch Mysteries Ultimate collection has given me many hours of viewing pleasure. Great characters and a good variety of murder mysteries to be solved that are not always predictable. I like the early 1900's time frame and the focus on early forensic and other technologies. Sometimes serious, sometimes humorous, there is a good mix of character interactions and character development that the whole family can enjoy. With this collection you can watch a few episodes at a time or binge watch an entire season if you want. The series just gets better as the seasons unfold. So, make some popcorn, sit back and see if you can unravel the Murdoch Mysteries!

A fictional detective who encounters Sherlock Holmes, Nikola Tesla, Thomas Edison, and others. Set in early turn-of-the-century Canada it proves to be a very enjoyable series. A nice mixture of fictional characters with real persons.

Each episode is interesting as all the characters develope with lifes never ending events. Writing into the story line inventions of the day along with one-liners that hint of future inventions is amusing, and of course the solving of puzzles- the crime.

I wish I could give this 10 stars!!! This is a wonderful Canadian TV series that my sister caught in the middle of the night during an insomnia attack. The whole extended family has enjoyed them. Binge watching at its finest. Decent mysteries and GREAT characters as well as GREAT character interactions. It is a period piece set just before and just after 1900. The main character is a detective for the Toronto constabulary who is quite the ‘McGyver’ for his time. It is amazing to see what can be done with the leading edge of technology at that time (well, mostly).I cannot recommend this highly enough.

Only discovered this superb series Summer, 2018. Quality is reliably, consistently excellent, interesting, imaginative, dabbles in history that has caused me to research ppl and events only vaguely in my memory, funny. Gave myself gift of CDs for all 11 seasons and three Christmas specials. Highly recommend.

Excellent scripts, high production values, and some very colorful characters make this a thoroughly delightful show to watch. We love how the writers weave real notables of the era into many of the story lines, along with recurring good guys and villains. "Murdoch Mysteries" delivers mystery, suspense, pathos, with a healthy dose of comedy thrown in. My wife and I look forward every evening to relaxing in front of our TV to watch "the next episode." We are so glad to know that the show is still in production. Keep 'em coming.

They played great
