They are very soft and I would have given them a five star except when washed they lost their shape. Doesn’t anyone prewash fabrics before they sew them together anymore. That’s the only way you can be sure they will retain their shape. I guess you have to pay a lot more to get that quality.Update: The company reached out to me and sent me two new pillowcases. I must say these washed up much better than the first set. Thank you California Design. They are wrinkly but they are soft. I find that ironing them – I know people don’t do that anymore but I do - makes them even softer.

I bought 3 different types of pillow cases these felt better quality than the suppose 1000 ct Egyptian cotton ones. These were thicker n had a smoother slightly silkier feel against my skin. I would say these are hotel grade pillows cases.

These are by far the best sheets and pillowcases on Amazon. I haven't tried the "LINEN" sheets for hundreds of dollars and wont! But I have tried every single sheet that had a somewhat decent review and these are hands down THE best.California den design actually cares about their product as well as excellent customer service. I can't wait for new colors/designs to come out.Hoping for a purple paisley with this quality. I ordered the blush in king size and they were more than generous covering the pillows. Their soft, strong, crisp and look beautiful. I'm so grateful to open sheets of this quality and NOT smell chemicals just as they promise. I highly recommend these sheets and pillowcases. The more you wash them the better they feel. Cold wash low heat.IF I need to iron some wrinkles out, it's not a bad price to pay for not having to huff in chemical's all night while I sleep.I've ordered enough sets of their sheets to know for fact that these are the best!

When I opened the package there was a live worm in the fold of the pillowcase. So gross. Wish I knew what kind it was and how it got there.

I LOVE these sheets. When ordering online, you never know what you are going to get, but I scored big with these sheets. So soft, has a pretty sheen to it, fits my super thick mattress, and they are just an overall quality sheet set. I ordered an extra set of pillowcases because we have a ton of pillows on our bed. These were worth every penny!

Very soft and comfortable. Appreciated the wrinkle resistant - but didn’t last!The top tore and is beyond my ability to repair because of the fraying edge.I rotated between this set of sheets and another set (different brand) - changing out every 2 weeks or so. So it’s not like wore out from constant use either.

Needed extra pillowcases, we prefer white to go along with any colors we have. These are super nice! Soft, cool to the touch and they are very white! They wash very well (I use very hot water and high heat drying) and if removed from the dryer on time they are not wrinkled. If these get stained or yellowed I will bleach them as I do all of my white linens and I'll update the review after bleaching; but they seem pretty durable. Great price and very nice in my opinion.

Great pillow cases. I recently ordered a higher end thread count fitted sheet at The Bay, as I did not want to pay at the moment for the expensive sheet set. But noticed they only sold only shams and not regular pillow cases separately like the fitted sheet. So I ordered these pillow cases and the color and shine of the pillow cases matched close enough to The Bay ones to make me happy, as these are better than the ones I was using before.

These are nice pillow cases and they're as advertised. I also bought the 600 thread count sheet set from California Design Den, which I also really liked. One point that I would mention is that these pillow cases are a noticeably different shade of blue than the ones that came with the sheet set, even though they are both advertised as 'Navy Blue'.

I bought 2 sets of 2 standard pillowcases in May 2021. The cotton is nice, and they are soft. BUT on one pack (i.e. half of the pillowcases I ordered) the top hem was not sewn on the bias and therefore as soon as they are washed they no longer lie flat - the fold doesn't keep its shape and makes a weird new wrinkle. So I had to iron them but this is going to be a major pain going forward!

My husband loves these black cases. He sleeps with one pillow over his face and it blocks the light totally. Slightly wrinkled when initially washed but smoothes out nicely. They're well made, sturdy but quite light. They also fit well into my bl and white decor.

Huge disappointment. The pillow cases are off white, not "pure white" as it's stated in the description. Also it doesn't have the internal fold to encase the pillow inside. Not impressed. Also VERY ROUGH after first wash. Will update if it improves over time.
