Elite Filter Cartridge for Mini Underwater Filter, 2-Pack

LOVE this little filter. I have a 3 gal bowl so clip one do not work. Most suction cups do not work either but this filter has tiny suction cups that hold to the curve of the bowl. It has a switch to control the water out put. It is still very strong. I ordered extra sponge filters and put one over the out put and that did the trick. There is only sponge filtering with this little guy so I will be adding an extra medium to its set up.

I bought this filter to replace the one that came with my little table top aquarium (which broke the first week). This filter is wonderful! It's so easy to set up and it's so quiet you can't hear it. I sometimes have to stick my hand in the water to make sure it's still working, which it is! It provides a little current for my fish which I think makes them feel more at home, like in a natural environment.

They work very well. I kinda wish they were not black though. It makes it very hard to see how dirty they are.

I love this product and would highly recommend it. I placed it in our 2.5 gal tank, which we use for 2 African dwarf frogs, and within 2 days the tank was crystal clear. Our frogs use it as a toy and it is so quiet you have to put your ear to the tank to ensure it is running. I run it on the lowest setting and it does a great job.

Good filter for a smaller tank, the specs say that this will work for a 10 gallon tank, I would think that this would work better for a 5 or less gallon tank. The water flow is good and the filtration is a sponge like element. No room for any carbon.

I ordered this product along with the Hagen Elite Underwater Mini-Filter. The filter was a little too strong for my betta fish, even on its minimum setting, so I just attached one of these to the output. Now everything is well! Be sure to order one of these with the filter.

These work well with the filter they are made for, but you can cut almost any aquarium-safe foam to the same size at lower cost.

This filter is very quiet and works great on our 15 gallon tank. Great buy!!
