These gauges are very handy to give you a good idea of how much gas is in your propane tank, although not accurate as a float meter in your gas tank in your car but it’s a pretty good indicator. I would say it’s probably 85% efficient and that’s for all these types of gauges not just this brand however this brand After I barbecue twice it shows almost full where the other one I had only showed half this one is more accurate and it’s a very good price point.

This is the second Propane Tank gauge level indicator I've purchased. This order is for a gift for my nephew. I was at his house for a cookout. He had just put the burgers on the grill and discovered the tank was out of gas. The birthday meal was delayed for 30 minute while he went to get another tank. He will be surprised when he gets this gift. I've had y gauge for over a year. It works great. The gauge is about as accurate as you can get. It doesn't tell you when you are completely empty, but when the indicator is in the red zone, you know it's getting close. That's close enough for me. I highly recommend this gauge. You don't want to be embarrassed at your cookout.
