GunMate 1919687 Range Bag , Black

Fantastic and inexpensive range bags. I bought one 6 months ago (still looks brand new) and just received my second one today. Both arrived way ahead of time, which was nice. They are well constructed and have ample room. I have carried 4-5 boxes of ammo, two large ear protector muffs, several tools for emergency breakdown of weapons at the range, 2 ear plug sets in cases, two sets of range glasses, two mag fillers,a pack of stick on targets, a couple of small empty bullet holders (for switching out my defensive ammo to range ammo)and two pistols in the gun sleeves in the outside zippers. The bag did not sag at all (I did spread out my ammo across the bottom to help this). Would definitely recommend this bag to anyone needing a range bag but not wanting to pay $30 more for a big manufacturer's logo. If you want logos on the bag, save money and buy some patches to put on it. I personalized my wife's bag with a large Ruger logo on hers (bought here on Amazon) and mine with a 2nd Amendment patch, CZ patch and Walther patch. They look as great as any logo-ed range bag on the market (and still come in cheaper than other bags). For the ones that have complained about not receiving the dividers, NOTE... the bag does not have internal side pockets - those ARE the dividers! But I use them as side pockets for my tools , ear plugs and range cards. Items can slide out at the bottom, but I fixed that by putting a couple of small, no longer used, pocket holsters in the pockets and they hold all the tools and stuff great! The only complaint that I could come up with (a fixable, minor one) is that the handles on the bag did not have Velcro on them to hold them together for a quicker grasp. Easy fix, I simply cut two thin strips of Velcro and mounted them on the inside of the handles. Works fine.

When I first checked out the dimensions of this GunMate Range Bag on Amazon, I was concerned with it being able to hold all of the shooting accessories and ammo I would need to take to the shooting range for my Ruger Security Six .357 Magnum revolver, a not-so-small handgun in its own right. After a good bit of thinking and planning, I decided all of the very positive reviews couldn't be that far off, so I ordered it on Amazon.com. After using it for the past several months, I can easily say the GunMate Range Bag was one of my very best Amazon.com purchases. The two zippered side compartments, each with its own padded gun rug, make it simple and safe to carry my Ruger Security Six with a Masterlock 3-digit Gun Trigger Lock, inside an Allen Co. Knit Gun Sock for Handguns, in one side compartment, AND my Beretta 92A1 9mm Semi-Automatic Pistol, inside an Allen Co. Knit Gun Sock for Handguns, along with a Condor MA37 Triple 30-Round Magazine Pouch holding three Beretta 9mm 30-Round Magazines, in the other side compartment. Two hook-and-loop (Velcro) dividers separate the central main storage compartment into three spaces for your gear and ammo. The length of the cable is perfect for this application. By doing this on both sides of the GunMate Range Bag, none of the zippers can be unzipped to gain access to any compartment of my GunMate Range Bag without unlocking the Cable Gun Locks. This safety/security locking feature also permits me to keep my range bag fully packed inside my home. When I first ordered my GunMate Range Bag, I didn't know how strong the fabric, the zippers, and the seams would be, and if the hook-and-loop (Velcro) dividers would be strong enough to keep everything in its place. After several months use with the bag filled with all the ammo and shooting gear listed above, I am happy to report that the bag looks as good as new, Whoever thought of using the double zippers connected with a fabric strap on the large center compartment should be given a big bonus, and the Velcro sewn onto the end of the center compartment flap works great by strengthening the closure of the large center compartment and giving the bag a clean, tailored appearance. The nylon ballistic fabric looks great, the zippers all glide smoothly, the Velcro is still holding very tightly, the lightly cushioned nylon handles are still holding strongly, and none of the seams have split open or come undone. With the weight of my GunMate Range Bag when filled, I'm glad it has a comfortable, adjustable shoulder strap to make carrying it so much easier. For it's relatively small size, compared to some of the other range bags costing two to three times as much, my GunMate Range Bag is a real workhorse. Several of the guys at the shooting range can't believe how much gear comes out of my bag. One guy asked me where my second bag was, because there was no way all the gear I had out on my shooting station could have come out of that one little bag. Unless you need to carry more shooting gear to the shooting range than I have listed in this review, if you are looking for a quality range bag at a very competitive price, order this GunMate Range Bag. I think you will like it as much as I do.

Great range bag at a very reasonable price! It comes with 2 pistol rugs that fit in and are the length of the outer pockets. I bought the following rugs in Medium to use for my Glock 26 and M&P Shield: FSDC CARETAKER Pistol/Handgun Rug (Medium (8.0" x 6.5")) . In my case, one outer pocket holds my 2 subcompacts in the aftermarket pistol rugs, and the other outer pocket holds one of my full size firearms in the stock pistol rug. There are 2 dividers in the main compartment that can be adjusted to offer 3 different size holding areas. It is large enough to fit a bucket of rounds, eyes and ears, extra magazines, magazine loader, cleaning supplies, sheets of stick-on targets, a small broom and dustpan (for collecting my brass), and much more. The bag is very sturdy and the material thick, not like the free range bag you would have gotten when joining the NRA. The bottom of the bag doesn't fold up into itself when carrying on my shoulder. It looks great and holds everything I need for a day at the range.

Good bag - great value

This bag is nice and compact with 2 locking, padded side pistol pouches. Made well and has an open space interior for accessories and ammo. It isn't compartmentatlized like some but this works. Very quick turnaround time for delivery. Thanks!

This is a nice litlle bag. It's still new but I can see that it's quality and that it shall last a long time. I would have liked a partition in the center to split in two the biggest portion of the bag. The side pouches have zippers with the option to put a lock. There is a padded envelope in each pouch to put your pistol. The center does not lock so legally I cannot put any firearm in that portion. All in all I am quite happy for the price I paid. 43$CDN shipped.

Great for what its designed for but zips are rubbish. Broke after less than 6 uses
