Game Changer Review: EXCELLENT read- from ages 13-103 - This book, although fiction, is a FANTASTIC read - and gives some real eye-opening facts about things that REALLY go on in life- and in schools. No doubt that this book would be interesting for anyone age 13 and up. Written very interestingly (and different from any book I've read)- Way easier to read than most novels and you know AT ALL TIMES who is speaking. EXCELLENT writing style. Highly recommend for ages 13-103 if you are interested in today's SPORTS and today's TEENAGERS. Review: Compelling, engrossing storytelling that is about far more than football. - While 'Game Changer' is technically a book about football, it's really so much more than a sports story. In an incredibly engaging manner (it's a fun read that flies by) the author illuminates what happens when people are entrenched and unwilling to listen to opposing sides of an issue. This makes 'Game Changer' relatable to all (and sadly, incredibly timely). Sports kids, non-sports kids and parents will relate to the well-drawn characters and the difficulties they face navigating thorny social media—and just plain social—issues. My favorite book I've read this month.

My son loved this book!
My 12-year-old son chose this book for his school summer reading. He absolutely loved it! He says it is in his list of favorite books ever! He loves sports so it was a great story of a kid who gets injured playing football. He loved the story, there's suspense, and he loved the characters as well. He could not put the book down, and he would be laughing out loud in parts of it. He would highly recommend this book.

Great story and use of multimodal features
This is a great find for a quick read to analyze hazing culture. It is a quick read and tells the story through the use of different mediums. I bought several copies for my classroom library.

Great book for young people
I am a teacher. I read this with my class of six graders and we all loved it. I even got a little choked up at the end. The writing is written like a student, so it comes out in many different mediums: Twitter, live feed, and conversations. Great writing. The character development lends itself to plenty of discussion about school sports.

Great book, especially for boys who are reluctant or challenged readers
Its football theme and unique format of text messages, social media posts, interviews, newspaper articles, and character dialogue make it a perfect book for readers who have difficulty completing and understanding a traditionally written book. I would recommend it especially to reluctant readers and those with reading challenges such as dyslexia.

excellent read w/mixed media
Great read with mixed media format - the story is told through realistic character conversations (script format), text messages, social media posts, interview transcript, and news articles. The theme is complex and allows for lots of discussion.

The book came in excellent quality, and the book was a wonderful read. I love the football story, and it was a book that I stayed interested in and was always excited when I would have time to read it.
