I purchased this for my grandson. It was a terrific purchase. My grandson just became a Boy Scout and this was a gift for him. He will use in his camping experiences with his Boy Scout group.

This was a gift for our grandson who is just entering the boy scouts. He hasn't had the opportunity to use it camping yet, but he has tried some of the items in it.

Got this for my 11 yr friends son. He graduated Cubs Scouts and joined the Boy Scouts. He loved the compass the most.

Purchased for 10 year old son. Product arrived the next day, which was awesome. The less than awesome parts: The "shockproof" case was shattered on one side, the contents inside were all fine, except for the pen, which doesn't write. It does not include batteries, for the large flashlight, but the tiny squeeze light does work on delivery.For a ten year old, or a trunk kit this is a decent little package. It does not have a knife, so get one, There is room in a case for a small folder. The multitool card, while, it might be of some use, really doesn't have much of a cutting edge.There is a small metal waterproof "pill" container. I put 2 small fishing hooks, each with 10-12 feet of lightweight fishing line attached into it. That was a chore, but, kid will like it.

My Grandson loved it. He wants to live in the woods all the time.
