Itas time once again to let it all hang out with an all-new volume of animated outrageousness! From the disturbed comic minds of Mike Barker, Matt Weitzman, and Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane, comes the always insane adventures of CIA operative Stan Smith and his wonderfully twisted family. In the 100th episode, Hayley elopes with Jeff! Other episodes include Stan on jury duty, Steve walking in on his amorous parents, Roger dating Steveas best friend, and yet another AD Christmas classic. Plus, there are serial killers, Turkish amphetamines, and evil clones a so, you know, the usual! Review: Still continues to be funny - By now, anyone reading this very likely knows what American Dad! is a show and has already formed an opinion of it, good or bad. The show continues to have the same format, basically, individual storylines each week (sometimes there are two-part episodes, and the show does refer back to previous episodes from time to time) that get resolved in that episode and the show moves on. By this season the focus of the show has shifted away from Stan's CIA job (although it is still an element in the show) and to the more character-themed story of the week (usually involving Roger and/or Stan, but not exclusively). And, the episodes that involve things like time travel, battling Santa, etc., which become the norm for the show in later seasons start popping up this season. The show continues to include a lot of good guest stars, some of whom are easy to recognize and others, no so much. This season, the guest lineup included Jason Alexander, Sarah Chalke, Anthony Michael Hall, Hector Elizondo, Lucy Lawless, Hayden Panettiere, Lou Diamond Phillips, Burt Reynolds, Edward Asner, and Carl Reiner. For those who get the DVD set, the extras include commentary tracks on selected episodes, deleted scenes, a feature on Patrick Stewart, who voices Stan's boss at the CIA, and a portion of the 2010 comic-con panel. So, a good amount of material if you like watching the extras. Overall, the show is good. While not every show is great, most of them are clever and there are a lot of funny moments. It is much different from Family Guy, which in the long run is good, but it definitely has a similar brand of humor. So, if you like the prior seasons, this is definitely worth picking up. Review: Great - Great condition

Stan Smith: Model American
Get ready for some wholesome family silliness with CIA operative Stan Smith and his outrageous family in American Dad! : Volume Seven. In this hilarious collection of 19 episodes of the show's sixth season, Hayley and her hippie boyfriend Jeff elope and Stan offers a bounty of $50,000 for anyone who could stop them. Its Halloween and Stan is determined to make his home the scariest haunted house in the neighborhood, including having five of the most dangerous serial killers inside. When Steve accidentally shots the real Santa Claus with his new rifle, the Smiths find themselves under siege by an army of elves and reindeer from the North Pole. Angered by Stan, Francine reawakens her lifelong dream of being a stand-up comedian and moves to Los Angeles. Roger accidentally sells the daughter of an influential senator to a drug lord, forcing Stan to choose between family and his career. From the creative minds of Mike Barker, Matt Weitzman and Seth MacFarlane, American Dad! delivers some outrageous humor and feature memorable guest stars like Jason Alexander, Sarah Chalke, Anthony Michael Hall, Hector Elizondo, Lucy Lawless, Hayden Panettiere, Lou Diamond Phillips, Burt Reynolds, Edward Asner and Carl Reiner. Despite its simple keepcase presentation, American Dad! Volume Seven is sure to become a welcome addition to your home video collection. All 19 episodes are presented in 1.78:1 anamorphic widescreen. The transfers look great and its 5.1 Dolby Digital audio is dynamic and well balanced. Nine episodes include audio commentary tracks with the show's writers, producers and voice cast. Among other interesting bonus features are 47 deleted scenes and two fun featurettes: I Love Patrick Stewart and American Dad! at Comic Con 2010. Overall, American Dad! Volume Seven scores a "B".

Funny!
One, when this show came out, I really did not give 2 cent worth of watching. Guess one night, after few sesons when by. I watch one show, and got hooked! More for adults or children over 13. I enjoy a good laugh, and this is one of those shows that great on raining days to sit back and watch!

American Dad - my favorite cartoon series
I cannot get enough of Roger's antics. This is my favorite cartoon series, and I think that it is better than Family Guy. I know that is a minority opinion. On Family Guy, I cannot stand how badly Lois treats Meg. Francine Smith is the real deal. As long as American DAd is produced, I will keep watching and keep buying the DVD sets.
