Exactly what it says it is.
Nice case. A little larger than others on the market but not overly bulky. I bought this and a smaller option. They both work well and protect the drive. If you need a little extra space this is the one.

Advertised as custom fit for the G-Technology drive and the fit is quite perfect
This case is exactly what I was looking for. My last HHD drive failed as a portable hard drive. So I decided to buy a SSD drive as a portable drive and was looking for a good case for transport. This case is cheap and fits almost perfectly for the the drive. The pictures show the close fit and the pocket for the cables. It fits really well with the cables that come with the drive, I don't really need other cables for this drive. The drive is really well protected in the case and the hard shell of the case is perfect for throwing into a backpack or messenger bag and not having to worry about it. Very happy with this combo and would buy it again!

Good protection
SSDs are still not cheap so this case is great protection and peace of mind while carrying around my 1TB SSD. Perfect fit!

Be very careful before ordering
Nice case. Quality is good. Unfortunately, it’s too narrow to hold my G-Technology G Drive 2GB Mobile USB-C HDD. I ordered the case specifically because the description includes the statement that the case fits a G Drive 2GB mobile HDD. That statement may or may not be true, but I can confirm it definitely DOES NOT fit the USB-C version of the drive. I think I can use it for something else, but I wouldn’t have purchased it had I known the lack of compatibility up front.
