Stockton Low Sleeper Bunk Bed, 3ft Single

On Monday I ordered the standard 3ft long single low rise bunk bed for my kids who are 4 and 2. Me and my husband spent a long time looking for a bunk bed that we felt was suitable due to our kids sharing a room and needing more floor space for all their toys. All I can say as I love it and would fully recommend it to anyone who wants a solid pine bunk bed.Pros:-It is very sturdy. There is a central beam for each of the beds (even the bottom bunk which on my version sits on the floor. The corner beams are supper thick and chunky also with the bed slates being nearly double the thickness of the ones that were on my sons old bed.- very quick delivery. I ordered this bed on Monday and it arrived on Wednesday in three boxes.-great value for money. This bed when I bought it was £144 and for the sturdy quality I couldn't have gotten better.- easy to paint. I knew before I bought it that I wanted to paint it white so we painted it with one coat of white dulux satinwood as we still wanted to see the wood grain through the paint.I don't really have any cons but I do have recommendations for future buyers.- The instructions you get are as simple as ilea or argos. I found it very useful to mark each of the peices with the part number ( I Done this when completing the item check list) and then put them in order of part numbers.- I would also recommend reading both the leaflets you get with the bed twice before you actually build it.-Finally get a hand from someone. Most of it can be build by one however when it comes to putting the larger parts together they are quite heavy. The bed is solid.Over all I gave it a 5 🌟 review as over all I live this bed. It's very sturdy and the quality I'm positive will last my two children most of there younge childhood years. The low rise means that it is not to high for my four year old who is tall for his age. In addition I did buy glow in the dark stripes for putting onto the ladder treads so my son can see in the dark when climbing down for a pee.

There is nothing bad I can say about this item, I very rarely review but due to the quality and value for money of this item I felt compelled to do so. I have never been more impressed with a piece of flat pack furniture. Solid pine bunk beds straight ladder £210, absolute bargain and if you read them carefully very simple to put up. Yes, it took some time to erect, best part of the afternoon with interruptions but if you want a quality product that's sturdy then this is it!! I am very happy, and my kids are very happy and looking forward to painting it themselves, cannot fault this product, keep at it!

Reviews looked great and got it on an offer which was a bonus for me as needed to purchase mattresses as well for my kids. The bed arrived after getting changed two delivery companies. The next day when was free to build it instructions where not the best and there was several pieces missing to build the beds as a result I had to get in touch with company on website to request the missing parts (bolts dowels screws etc) . This resulted In kids having to sleep on there mattress on the floor while waiting on these parts coming which took a couple days but Royal Mail. The company apologised by email for parts missing and said they where in post that was that on their end.Once it was built kids loved it (5 & 9) and is low for younger one and not too high for older one. Feels good and sturdy for them as they grow.

I am so impressed with this.It is so sturdy and perfect for my 5 year old on the top and 1 and half year old on the bottom. I loved that the top isn’t too high and the bottom is very low to the ground. I thought I would struggle with my youngest but he went straight to sleep and haven’t had a problem yet with him getting up once I’ve put him down! I have a long cushion under the bedsheet that keeps him from rolling out in the night.The wood colour is lovely, has a wood smell but this doesn’t bother me!I read in the reviews that the instructions were confusing so I actually paid someone locally who builds flat pack, NOT THROUGH THE COMPANY ITSELF - they quoted per hour but I asked for a price for the job and paid £50 assembly. He did say it was a bit confusing and he had to improvise at times but he did it in about 2 hours.

We are delighted with these beds. They are sturdy ,well made and just the right height for our grandchildren to use. All the parts and fixings were well labeled and the instructions were excellent.It does take 2 people to build these beds and make sure you follow the instructions without deviating.

Lovely sturdy bed once you get it together.I'm pretty good at these flat pack things and I anticipated it would take a couple of hours but the instructions are absolutely useless! It doesn't tell you which screws to use one which bit so you have to guess, the pictures aren't helpful really either. Photos of what it should look like ate not helpful as to how to get it to that point! It took me so long to make this and I'm still very cross about how confusing it was BUT the bed is lovely and is what I wanted

I have two sets of these bunk beds. They’re so much sturdier than your Average argos/ikea style.I have a 8 year old and a 5 year old on one and a 12 year old and 8 year old in another (that one I’ve had for three years and it look new)These beds will last for years. I would highly recommend.
