Works great right out of the box. Easy to use.
I put this in an external enclosure and it was recognized right away and I was able to use it for what I needed. Great blu ray reader for sure. I only wish I had picked it up a bit earlier.

Software does not match drive
Drive works just fine. The Nero 12 software is for a Liteon drive, so some of it does not work.

Great Drive
Worked great out of the box. The install was straight forward and it's quiet. Loud drives are an annoyance and this one is a champ. Also the "lite" version of Nero 9 is a plus. Definitely recommended.

DVD/Blueray player is great, but the CD they give you is worthless ...
DVD/Blueray player is great, but the CD they give you is worthless (Nero). You can't play DVD's or Blueray's so you are stuck with a player you can't use to watch movies. I would not buy this again from this seller.

My mistake was assuming that their hardware software bundle was better than the Amazon Prime offered bundle for $69
I received the Pioneer BDR as advertised above and the install was a breeze on Windows 10. That's about it. The setback is that the software sold in the bundle is the Trial Version Nero 12 Essentials DVD & not the white & red DVD shown in the picture above. Additionally, this software also doesn't come with a proper serial number so you can't reach out to Nero for assistance either. FYI, Nero 12 means that it was originally sold in 2012. I reached out to the seller Produplicator to see if they could remedy the purchase as their stated advertisement says "Nero Software ($20 Value)". Their response was to simply suggest that I return the bundle. My mistake was assuming that their hardware software bundle was better than the Amazon Prime offered bundle for $69.99 even though they are exactly identical in every way. Next time I'll do my homework in advance and save the difference.

Great CD-DVD writrr and reader
Has worked flawless from the time I have purchased...look at the date of this review...I purchased this I think in 2017...works flawlessly still.
