BIG RED T43002A Torin Steel Jack Stands: Double Locking, 3 Ton (6,000 lb) Capacity, Red, 1 Pair

I’ve always thought buying things like axle stands online are a bit of a risk so I spent a lot of time researching before I bought.These come in a decent box which is handy for storage. The stands appear well made, welds are substantial and neat, no sharp edges anywhere and the red finish looks good. They’re easy to assemble and there is a tag for bending to keep the ratchet jack parts in place in the frame (personally I’ve not used these so I can easily dismantle for storage). Security pins are good quality and fit nicely.I’ve used them twice so far to lift a 3 Series BMW so well under the 2 tonne capacity. Easy to use and felt safe and secure getting underneath with both front wheels removed. Just the Job! Plenty of height available and the car felt stable enough to loosen off some seized fasteners on the front suspension.

For the price I wished I'd bought these years ago, rather than trust an old trolly jack. Decent build quality, locking mechanism with the added safety of a locking pin.

Thorough research before eventually deciding on these. Very sturdy. Pay that bit extra for the 3 ton versions. Good adjustment and safe double lock. Recommended. I bought two sets.

Good axle stands. Only gripe is there could have been a small foot on each corner, they sank into tarmac slightly. Will know next time though and will put them on a bit of plywood.

I need to try and do some work under my car so chose these as they not only looked good but with the double lock system they are very seem a lot safer. They extend to a good height that allows more working room under the car. They are fairly heavy, but that to me says they are made of a better quality materials and should be well up to the job. Once your car is raised to the correct height, using a separate jack, the you slide in the top section, adjust the to the height height required. You then slide a small bar to lock it at that position. You should then be able to lower the jack so the car is sitting comfortably on both of them. I also purchased a couple of small chocks to stop the vehicle sliding away. Definitely recommended these as they are well up for the job
