Blown Away
I have a 1996 MIM Fender Stratocaster that I purchased new when I was 11. My first electric guitar. Over the years I have aquired many mid-range to high-end-ish guitars. As a result, this guy has seen less and less play time.Recently I decided to rebuild this guitar and bring it up to par. I ordered Fender locking tuners, a Callaham steel tremolo block, and this loaded pick guard. I decided to go with Seymour Duncans as I really love their Pearly Gates set in my Les Paul. I am totally blown away by the result. This guitar now sounds as good if not better than my strat with Fender custom shop Texas specials.Still can't play like Jimi though...
