Wirthco 30200 Battery Doctor Fuse Tap Kits for AGC and SFE Fuses

I used this fuse tap to provide power to a radio I installed in my friend’s classic ‘79 Lincoln Mark V. I wanted to avoid cutting into any of the car’s wiring. This fuse tap did the trick. Please note that the fit is very tight so be careful as you push the fuse back into place. Also, placement on the fuse is VERY important. If you are running a separate, in line fuse from this fuse tap, be sure to attach this clip to the end of the fuse that is hot (picking up power). This is the safest method. If you are installing something g that doesn’t draw a lot of power, place this clip on the end of the fuse that isn’t hot. Use a 12V circuit tester to determine which contact in the fuse slot (in the fuse panel) is hot.

Works much better than the simple spade add on.

Snaps onto fuse without bending or cracking fuse. Great to use to hookup a stereo or amplifier on a classic car, to run through an accessory fuse to turn on amps, tachometer, fog lights, etc.

They parts seem to be of good quality. However they only give you three taps and the rest spades. Seems a bit over priced for what you get.

Just What I needed . Worked well with the larger glass fuse, not the smaller ones. Easy install.

This clips on the “fused” side of the circuit. To provide power for additional accessories, in my case, a tach, oil pressure, and water temp gauges.Install is simple: Take out fuse, test both sides of circuit with test light. The Side without power is the side that the fuse tap should be on. This means that if there is a short, the fuse will blow cutting power, protecting your car.

Exactly as described, easy to use. Couldn’t ask for more.

Great handy little clips for piggybacking off glass fuses

I needed to make an additional connection to the glass tube fuse block in my old car and other makers products were too thick and I couldn't get the adapter and fuse in the fuse block. Bought these and they worked perfectly and easily.

Work great, only comment like others is I would prefer more, or all, taps instead of twice as many connectors
